    Ireland is an island country located in northwestern Europe. It is the third-largest island in Europe and the twentieth-largest island in the world. The country is divided into two political entities: the Republic of Ireland, which covers about five-sixths of the island, and Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom and covers the remaining one-sixth of the island.
    The Republic of Ireland has a population of approximately 4.9 million people, and its capital and largest city is Dublin. The official languages of the country are Irish and English, and its currency is the euro.

It is known for its stunning natural beauty, including rolling green hills, rugged coastlines, and ancient forests. The country is also famous for its literary traditions, with many celebrated writers hailing from Ireland, including James Joyce, Samuel Beckett, and W.B. Yeats.

      This is one of my all time favourite Cafes! We will be in Ireland very soon & I will head there regularly, plus check out other wonderful bakeries in Dublin & abound.
      We'll be in Dublin for 10 days, so plenty of time to enjoy & relax.
      There are 2 Queen of Tarts Cafe's in Dublin & one of them is the first/original Cafe.

    Thank you for the wonderful views and content. I was there for two weeks, also the end of July and early August, with Great weather. We loved dinner at the Brazen Head too. When you go back, and I know you will, spend more time in Killarney and do the Gap of Dunloe tour. The jaunting carts and boat rides on the lakes was amazing. The Laurels Pub had delicious food and lively entertainment. Also, Bunratty Castle, Durty Nellies, Kinsale, and Cobh were great sights with good food. I ate at the Commodore Hotel in Cobh and kissed the Blarney stone on my 36th Birthday. Wonderful memories. ☘️

    I should also add, being fed in Ireland is akin to a nice warm & loving (((hug))) & the serving portions appear to be, almost always very generous.
    It appears to me, that many of the eateries abound are very inviting & seem homely.
    We'll be in Ireland end of this year & it'll be my first time. I've long yearned to see Ireland.

    👋Hey guys,
    An awesome video from start to finish!
    I'd like to apologise for my other comments, as I sent those after a night out on the town!
    I was NOT in the right frame of mind. One too many Guinness's I'd say!
    I think I've now watched this video, I kid you NOT, @ least 30 times! lol I don't know why, but it brings me joy.
    Also & I hope you don't mind my saying, your wee one, she's very sweet & from what I can see during your videos, a really settled & happy baby. It's not an easy feat travelling with a baby, but honestly, what a truly rewarding & memorable experience for you all as a wee family.
    My parents took me on their many travels when I was very young, but I believe it was somewhat a challenge, albeit I doubt they'd have chosen to opt out fully back then, as they said it was great fun! I was told I was a settled & happy baby, but these days, well.....🤔😄
    Thus far, I've watched quite a few of your videos & I've watched numerous US & Hawaii videos & they're all very good & very enjoyable. I'll go back & give you guys a thumbs up for all videos I've thus far watched.
    Cheers & happy travels!

Did they accept the group in the pubs? By the time we get there our daughter will probably be close to 7 or 8.

    • @AdamandMadalyn
      @AdamandMadalyn  10 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you! Our daughter was about 4 months. If the dining area of the pub is separate, there is no issue. I think kids can be in Irish pubs if supervised and it’s earlier in day. They’re really strict about it in Scotland we can tell you that.

    How old was your baby during this trip? My wife and I are considering a trip to Ireland with our two month old baby. Wondering if you have any tips or thoughts on traveling with the baby?

    • @AdamandMadalyn
      @AdamandMadalyn  11 месяцев назад +4

      Congrats on your new one! Our baby was 4 months. Tips - get a good pack and play, we use a Guava lotus, and before we traveled over there we’d try to do nap time in the pack and play before we went. Driving the main motorways, what we call interstates in the US, was easy, but driving the backroads was certainly tougher and slower. I’d be more strategic about how we moved about the country. We did not utilize trains but we should have. The catch in Ireland is that the countryside is so beautiful (Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Connemara) that you really kind of do need a car to get around. Rental car prices are insane. Also we’ve found with a baby you just can’t over plan your day, because they just won’t cooperate the way you want them to. That said, our little one was a trooper and we still had an amazing time.

    • @MorrieLow
      @MorrieLow 11 месяцев назад +3

      @@AdamandMadalyn really appreciate the tips. I’ll look into the Guava Lotus. I planned on having a rental car the whole time as we want to spend most of our time on the west coast. I’m working on our itinerary right now. Any places you wished you would have visited or skipped? Thanks again!

    • @AdamandMadalyn
      @AdamandMadalyn  10 месяцев назад +4

      Sorry just seeing this response. We skipped Cliffs of Moher because of a scheduling hiccup, and spent more time in Galway. I would skip Galway, lovely town but we were limited with a baby, and go to the cliffs. Our thinking was we’d be back in Ireland again and go to the Aran Islands so we’d see the cliffs then.
      Loved the Dingle peninsula and Ring of Kerry, but we had picture perfect days there!
