Great vlog guys. Im a Spanish girl living in Galway for the last 18 years, I came when I was 25 and fell in love with this little magical place i never left. Magic & smiles are always around! Come back soon ❤❤
Just found your channel, you guys are adorable and your joy is so infectious! I spent 6 days in Ireland in September, one of the most magical times in my 59 years on the planet. Watching your adventures brings me back to the joy and wonder of my time spent in Ireland with its amazing rich history and the most gracious people I have had the pleasure of spending time with. I so want to return there!
I am so happy you came to visit my hometown Galway. There was a time when tourists would visit Ireland and not venture outside Dublin but things have changed so much the past few years and the West of Ireland is at last getting some overdue attention! Hope you guys got a chance to check out the Aran Islands, Kylemore Abbey and Connemara to name only a few! 😊
I love you guys… everything you cover is moving/ funny/ great..!! I’d love to see Ireland with you two as my guides..!! Nat- my own mother was a UAL ‘stewardess’ throughout the 1960’s…I love your natural charm! My Mom woul’ve been jealous! You both have an incredible character…stay with it- people love you and your positive energy..!!
That bookstore looked cool,I like the old school feel.of it.I also love that shop where Nat got the necklace,i'm not a jewelery person, but love those types of shops just to check out.
It really was a neat place! It was a maze of books! Those are the best kinds of book stores! Yea... The jewelry store was neat as well! So many cool spots in Galway! Thanks for watching! We hope you're doing well! 😊
Glad you enjoyed our little city 😁 I think you missed out on Salthill Village and walking The Promenade. You'd have really liked Salthill a lot, especially seeing as you visited during a rare period of great weather 😂
Country goes to Ireland!! I am in NC and going to visit my daughter who lives in Dublin next month! Planning to spend a night in Galway, so enjoyed this video, plan on taking my corn-pone charm to the Emerald Isle!! Yee Haw!!
🤣💗 hahaha love that so much!! Hope you have an amazing time! The Irish are so beyond kind!!! You’ll have to know how much you LOVED Ireland! It has a special place in our hearts now! 💗🥰
Hmm Galway looks busier than I expected. Those lattes look delicious. We love trying the cafe cultures where we go. Just finished a series in Greece and the coffee was amazing. We are excited for Iceland coffee. How beautiful is that river! What a huge cathedral. Very pretty.. lovely day for a Guinness. That folk band was pretty fun too. Cheers!
Thanks so much, man! Isn't Galway just great?? We loved it! This video was filmed on May 28th, but we were in Ireland May 22-June 2. Already looking forward to going back next year!
Hi! I went to Galway in July, and completely fell in love with it! It was so wonderful to watch your video, and revisit my trip - I did almost everything you did!! Aaah, what a magical city!
Another amazing travel vlog! That church and the fish and chips worth the trip alone. And the riverwalk was so peaceful looking. Have fun y'all and stay safe always. 🙏✈☕🍺🍽
Great video fun to see you just explore . The pub had such a great vibe! Nothing in the video will beat Matt’s Irish pee pee dance omg cryinggggg!!! Just as funny as Nats karate kicking dance on the cruise elevator demonstrating that her shoes wouldn’t fall off. 🤣😂🤪OMG you guys are the absolute BEST
Aww, Thanks so much!😊 The pub was so much fun! We definitely spent too long there! 😬😂 Hahahaha... Glad you got a kick out of the Irish Pee Pee Dance (brought to you byTaaffes Pub and Guinness😂😂)... Thanks so much for watching!😊
I've been watching your travels for a while now and my mother's maiden name was greene she's no longer with us but she'd be thrilled to know of the irish/name connection x
So I just found both of you and want to thank you 🙏 for this video I’ve been trying to get to Ireland for the last 3 years but it’s cool the all mighty has plans for me but I will definitely be going in march for two weeks next year. And I love the Irish pee pee dance it was hilarious 😂 😂😂 I know exactly how that feels you guys were great thank you ,very informative vlog cheers 🍻
Aww... We're so glad you found us!😊 And we're excited that you're finally getting the chance to visit Ireland! We were the same... We had plans to visit in May of 2020 and... well... We all know what happened. So it was 3 years in the making for us as well! Hahaha... Glad you enjoyed the Irish Pee Pee Dance! That's what happens when you spend too long at the pub! Haha... Thanks so much for watching and safe travels! 😊
Hey guys!! Great video as always!! You guys always pack so much great content into your videos (great food, rich history, pee pee dances lol) and you do it with laughs and smiles the entire way. Side note, being from the PNW it was awesome to see the guy playing guitar in the Seahawks shirt!! God bless you both and safe travels ✈️
Aw, thanks so much Joel! Hahaha... Glad you enjoyed the Irish Pee Pee Dance! Lol... Oh, that's awesome! We didn't even catch that! Gonna have to rewatch that section now! Thanks so much for watching! Hope you're doing well! 😊
Hi! Stumbled onto your channel while trying to plan our Italy trip, and I love both of your energy and your ability "story-tell" well. One thing I couldn't help but notice was how stunning Nat looks in each and every video, and would be very interested in learning about Nat's makeup (+skincare) routine when traveling. I know this is not the purpose of this channel, but I'm very curious =)
Great video guys. I'm a local and I learned stuff from you! If your back in Galway again, do pop out and try our eBike trip. It's an nice excursion away from the City for a few hours. Burren EBike Adventures.
Help! Wife and I have been trying to figure out the original artist and title of song at the 19:40 mark, for literally a solid year! Who knew we’d see a local band playing it in an Irish pub in Galway while watching a Matt and Nat video!!! Mind blown! Cannot wait until we visit Ireland. Any help with the song artist and title? Thank you!
Brilliant video of Galway. You went to all the best places and made everything look so good. I was brought up in Galway and of course l love it. Its a vibrant colourful place. Dont know if you went to Salthill but its worth a visit Thankyou.
Ive have baby guinness here in the states with Kahlua and I don't like coffee flavor either, and it's okay but last summer we were in Dublin and had a baby guinness with Tia Maria and Baileys omg YUMMMMMMM

I see so many people try Irish or British food designed to work with tea, refuse to have the tea and complain that it's dry. If you think scones are dry it's because you are missing half the meal.
We did! We’ve been twice now and stayed right off of Eyre Square both times. Once at Eyre Square Hotel which was very dated and not great tbh. The last time we were there we stayed at Victoria Hotel and it was great! Here’s the link… www.stay22.com/allez/expedia?&aid=adventuresofmattnat&link=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.expedia.com%2FGalway-Hotels-Victoria-Hotel.h2360342.Hotel-Information Hope that helps! Since your name is Green and your Irish descent, all Irish people had to change their name to something that sounded English or they wouldn’t work or be accepted when the British Colonized the island so below are just a few names that were Anglicized into Green . Green has been used as an anglicisation of a number of other Irish originals, including O Grianain, Mac Glasain and Mac Giolla Ghlais, either through a phonetic resemblance or a supposed connection with glas, meaning the colour green.
We wanted to try them! We actually tried to go but they closed early due to a employee appreciation party! So next year when we are back we will definitely be checking it out! 🥰💗 Thanks for the recommendation!
Nice vid, but the walls in Eyre Square Shopping Centre are not the original walls, they were indeed torn down, they are just replicas. Spanish Arch is the only part of the wall left even tho it was built long after the walls of the city to protect ships docked along the river, Spanish Arch was partially destroyed by the Lisbon Tsunami of 1755. And that market at Spanish Arch (Fish Market) was Tinny Trader's and also where the woman of Claddagh Village, the name sake of the ring, right across River Corrib from Spanis Arch, came over to sell their fish, mostly salmon and Claddagh is pronounced with a A not O at the end. And Quay St is pronounced Key and that is in the Latin Quarter. The Galway Cathedral was the last stone Gothic style Cathedral built in Europe and it was built where the Galway Prison once stood. Former Bishop of Galway Eamonn Casey is interred there. Sláinte! (pronounced with an A at the end).
We did! We drove into the city, parked our car at a garage recommended by our hotel, and didn’t move it until we left! Lol… Parking was pretty terrible in the city center. We just walked everywhere within the city once we were there. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!😊
A one-way flight from the US to Galway can cost anywhere from $250 to $1,000 depending on your travel dates, when you’re booking, and where you’re departing from.

Ahhh thanks so much!! We’re so excited to come back next year!!
My Great Grandparents were from Galway...it's on my bucket list for sure!
As a proud Galwegian, this is so cool. I sometimes forget how lucky I am to live here ❤❤❤ The cathedral was built on the former city jail site!
Glad you enjoyed our little city 😁 I think you missed out on Salthill Village and walking The Promenade.

Hi! I went to Galway in July, and completely fell in love with it! It was so wonderful to watch your video, and revisit my trip - I did almost everything you did!! Aaah, what a magical city!
Really it’s the worst city in Ireland 🇮🇪
There is a supermarket in Dublin which has a glass floor, under which you can see an 11th century Viking settlement while you buy your groceries.
Soon gonna join as a adjunt lecturer/postdoctoral researcher in University of Galway. This looks like a good place
So cool! It’s a lovely city! One of our favorites! We hope you enjoy it!😊
Hey Matt - don't let anyone give you shit about your black skinny jeans. You keep rockin'em!
Hahaha… Thanks!🤘🏻

The Irish Pee Pee Dance needs to come to the States. Make it happen, Matt! ☘️
😂😂 Guinness has a way of inspiring the Irish Pee Pee Dance, but I'm sure other brands could inspire similar dances! 😂😂

Love your videos! We’re going to Ireland the first week in May. Can I ask what time of the year did you go?
that was a pretty neat castle in the mall
Right? So much history spread throughout the city!
Not a castle, but a remake of the walls that once stood around the city.

Cromwell soldiers destroyed that Protestant Church and the market is just outside
And used it for their horses, amo, and prostitutes.

That was originally a Catholic church which was confiscated by the protestant English colonisers.
There’s way too many close-ups of those two big heads of theirs. The voice overs are fine, but their heads are gigantic.
