I am very surprised that when they mentioned the Great Famine nothing at all was mentioned to the fact that the Irish people were forced into starvation by the British Master. Only the potatoes has the blight but the rest of the crops which Ireland produces everything was to be sent to Britain. The Queen was mentioned but nothing to the horrible treatment to the local population by the British masters. It reminds me of the Cowboys movies where the Indians were bad and cowboys were good.
You shouldn't blame the man, it's a tourism film not an historical documentary. To bring up all the horrible things the English have done to the Irish would change the whole happy thrust of the intended content.

Whenever I travel i always get a guide to stay with me the whole time because I don't want to be alone in a new place not knowing what to do or where to stay or eat and I've always had a great time because the guide always wants to do interesting things and stay in places with good food and stuff to do.
Should have spent some time in cork. It's a great city.

Beat him by crying about history on a youtube tourism video, seems to be the Boston Irish way
Oliver Cromwell was behind a LOT of that in the mid 1600's. 😠
You shouldn't blame the man, it's a tourism film not an historical documentary. To bring up all the horrible things the English have done to the Irish would change the whole happy thrust of the intended content.
@@hughneek12: A tourism film? No, it was real HISTORY. The proof is in the history books as well as on memorial markers. I've seen and read them myself.
Breaks my heart 😥
Very nice and serious presentation of this wonderful island! Thank you! 😍
Ireland has become a popular destination for White South Africans to immigrate to. Been here a year myself and i can see why, its awesome to feel safe !
