    DX with advanced osteoporosis about 3 years ago at 60 yrs old. I was like “what?” because I drink a lot of milk, always have. But had a hysterectomy at 28 years old for endometriosis.
    DEXA scan showed my bones basically nonexistent. I had gotten tired of trying to manage the HRT! Was sent to a Bone Clinic to begin Prolia injections every 6 months.
    I take RX vitamin D2. Just had an injection 6 days ago and the side effects right after are always a treat - painful joints especially extremities, hips and lower back. my CA and Vitamin D levels are finally normal now. Can’t wait to get started on your video!❤

      Sorry to hear about your osteoporosis diagnosis and the side effects that you are experiencing. Prescription drugs for osteoporosis can have a lot of side effects. The good news is that yoga has none of the side effects that the prescription medications have.     I'm so glad I found your channel. I'm 53 and I was diagnosed with Osteopenia. I had a complete hysterectomy at 40 so I've been in menopause for 13 yrs. This video is just right for me. My Doctor said this is good for my range of motion for my Scoliosis. So thank you so much. Ma y Blessings ❤

    Becky, Thank you very much for these exersises for osteoporosis. I am also pretty adamant about not taking medications. Im 84 and do go to the y. Im looking forward to doing more with you.

    Thank you. I have been doing your routine for two weeks now and I feel so much stronger. My question is what workout should I put this under on my watch? I have been using Flexibility, but I’m not sure if this is correct. Maybe I should put it in another category. Thank you for all you do. 😊

    I loved this lesson, , Becky. Thanks so much for teaching us. I have very limited range and motions , lots of pain and stiffness due to multiple neck surgeries. I wanted to invest my time in learning yoga to gradually get back the flexibility of my body. I have never learned yoga before and I am impressed by your teaching method. I’m looking for a yoga lesson , designed for the beginners, that I can practice every day in addition to this one. I wonder if you have already taught a lesson for the beginners , if so I would love it know how to find it. Thanks so much again.

      It's hard to say how long it will take to improve osteoporosis. It depends on a variety of factors such as the level of the osteoporosis, a person's diet, how sedentary the person is and how consistent the person is with exercise. But honestly, whether a person's osteoporosis improves or not, it is important to be moving, strengthening and stretching our bodies every day. So keep doing the exercises along with the video and just know that you are doing good things to take good care of yourself. Thanks for the question and thanks for trying the exercises.     I was diagnosed with osteoporosis but I'm adamant about not taking the medication. I've been doing strength training and just started yoga as well. I love your yoga poses as well as this one, which I do with weights. I know you have said we can do this daily which I would like to do. I just want to make sure it's OK to do it daily. I try to do the yoga daily as well. Thanks for these workouts!

      In my opinion, this strength training video is OK to do daily. Always listen to your body and don't overdo it. I suggest that you check with your doctor to make sure. Your doctor knows better than I do regarding your condition and your ability. I think it is important to move our body and stretch/strengthen our body every day. Make sure to take a rest day when you fell that you need it. I love your attitude! Stay motivated and take good care of yourself!

      Thank you so much! I am so excited to find a knowledgeable person for this. I went to the YMCA yesterday and did a yoga class, but, even though the teacher said she had osteoporosis and knew what we should do, she was wanting us to do lots of bending over and rounding our spine. So disappointed 😞
