This is what makes this channel so good. You encourage people to use the recipe as an inspiration and do what they want with what they have. Not to mention its real hearty food that is also healthy.
I cooked this for my son last week and this is the best baked pasta I have ever eaten. I followed the instructions and recipe just reduced the spinach and added carrots. One can diced tomatoes had Basilikum and the other oregano flavor. I'm not on a weight diet or muscle gain but this recipe will def. cooked once a month. It's really tasty. Thank you for the recipe
Try frozen spinach, just chuck a couple of lumps on. Same result but much less room taken up in storage before cooking.. a bag in the freezer lasts a while and costs much less
@@AlanpoetaOn top of that even if you try and eat "healthier" at a restaurant 9/10 times they will use an ungodly amount of butter, oil or other fats and condiments that end up rivaling the unhealthy options calorie wise
I made it again! This time I took half of a head of green cabbage and minced it into almost rice like quality, that way when I added the sauce it looked like it was cottage cheese, and then layered it with cottage cheese. I'm absolutely stoked for it when it comes out of the oven! Thank you a thousand times over for the awesome meal prep ideas!
Quite ironically I'm gonna have to replace onion and garlic with something else, had to take a long break from your recipies due to being diagnosed with IBD. I just made this, but doubled the meat portion for anabolic status. The fat content is around 100g, so hope that works for you, but she goes hard as hell for my macros. Champion vid Josh.
Just made this a couple days ago. I added slightly higher amounts of everything just because thats how it works sometimes (and i couldnt find low fat ricotta cheese??). I divided it into 7 servings to last a full week and even those helpings looked way to big to eat in one sitting. All that to say, im surprised at how easy it was to get down! I finished an 800 calorie dish in like 10 minutes😂 Its so good!

In all videos I have just seen a basic well known recipes everybody knows already, but your channel looks pretty good showing us some different new options for high caloric meals. Thank you man for doing this. Please make some more vegetarians high caloric versions :)
Hey man! I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your recipes i am trying to bulk and since i found your channel the recipes never EVER disappointed me each one of them is an absolute banger
Made this last night and it was a big hit with the family. And left plenty for rest of week. Nobody noticed the repugnant spinach or the whole wheat penne (market didn’t have gluten free but I’ll look for it and do that next time). Keep these coming-much appreciated!!
I just found you’re account and it looks very promising! I’m going to cook this meal this weekend and see how it goes! I love the content and the humour is hilarious
Made the meal, substituted a pound of beef to use up the other half of the cabbage from another meal you showed. Penne came in 16 ounces, mixed it all together and the result caused another casserole to made, so I have two big casseroles and I'm not even mad.
When I saw the macros, I kept waiting for a protein powder or something that would make it that dense. But no, this is just a regular dish that my mom would make as a normal-ass dinner.
I wanted to make a low cal version of this and was very happy to find it already linked in the description😎 also can’t believe how much of a calorie difference it makes by just using lean beef!! Anyway thanks for sharing!!
@@TheMealPrepManual that’s what I’m planning to do this week with this recipe. Based of your numbers it looks like 6 servings should be about 867 cal, 39 fat, 56 protein… and easier cutting and putting into containers once complete!
