Hey guys!! Heres another wedding vlog from last weekend! So happy how everyone tuned out! It definitely makes my job easier when everyone is stunning! And yes, before I get comments about it, it was a same sex marriage wedding! I love sharing these vlogs with you guys so I hope you never get sick of them lol. Now that my cold sore is gone ill be back into filming some makeup looks on myself yay!! I've missed sitting down and filming so much! I'd love to see a video on how you manage your time doing jobs like these with two or more makeovers, such as time per client, keeping kit organised and clean between clients, how much time you give yourself overall to get pics and videos of clients. Riviera Glam it’s all about priming and moisturising with older skin i use bb/cc creams because it’s not as heavy xx
Riviera Glam Also don’t use shimmers or glitters. It’s extenuates their aged skin, she put highlight on what I’m assuming is a mother and I thought that was a no no. Also, don’t over powder, and in some cases if they aren’t oily, not at all. It lets their skin still maintain a dewyness for a more youthful look

yes ive been practising doing make up on my mum as shes my only test run person atm and gosh its quite a challenge to do make up on mature skin so its nice to see someone else do it and their technique!

Do you have a lot of different foundations, use a foundation palette or just mix? And do you just use one foundation no matter the skin type?

liyla love I'm sure like any makeup artist she does what the clients requests- I assume especially for weddings nearly everyone will want something classic and elegant like what Jaz does :) she uses other clients to experiment and show us other looks! but yeah I think weddings aren't typically the times MUAs get to go outside the box lol :)
liyla love If I were a bride, I would want my bridesmaids to in sync and wear the same look since they have the same dress and so forth. The bride should have it a little more intense. But no colorful or dramatic looks.

Oooo the ethereal, virginical (probs not a word haha) look feels like it’ll be very hard to pull off… that’s probably why most go for the nightclub look

Jasmine how come you don't use more "natural" eyelashes ? Like the Ardell demis? Some of the lashes seem either too long on the clients or too harsh. And also, the older lady looked phenomenal. But i think a lighter coverage foundation might have sat better on the skin

The bride is usually the one in the white robe, while all the bridesmaids wear colored robes. In this case the last two in the white robes were both the brides. And she wrote that at the bottom of the video :)

Hi Jasmine! I'm new to your channel, just started watched a couple of them and really love your video! I'm also starting my MUA career, still has a lottt to learn. And I'm always wondering how long does it take for you to do make up for 1 person? You did a lot of them in 1 day and they all look amazing!! I'm still so struggling managing time to do make up for more than 2 person! 😭 I haven't mastered shyt yet, I mean I can't possibly finish 1 person less than 1 hour, its just impossible. What do you do if a customer is allergic to a certain product that you use?
Hi Jasmine, I have a question about freelancing/clients. How do you approach the skin care/skin prep aspect of makeup? Makeup always looks better on properly prepped skin. Do you ask your clients to do their own skin care routine before getting their makeup done by you or do you have certain skin care products that you use on them before you start the makeup? Thanks! OK this is great, I really think that make up can be art and you're obviously very talented....buuuut (you saw that comin', didn't you?) there is always something that bothers me a little, do you need to put every single one of them so much make-up on? I mean especially on the eyebrow, they look much more beautiful to me when they stay natural ....I know it's a wedding so it's supposed to pop but maybe on the bride not on every single woman...apart from that keep up the good work !!

Hey Jasmine, what do you use on clients for foundation? I have been doing wedding make up for awhile and I have issues with matching peoples skin tones primarily because I don't carry around every single shade! Do you have like a foundation pallet or something with multiple colors? Thanks!
