I appreciate the fact that he speaks so slowly and clearly, and takes the time to explain the use of each product and how to apply it and what kind of technique to use. Most of all I appreciate the fact that there is no obnoxious music playing like with so many of the hair and make up tutorials. Very nicely done.
The girl is a coquette, and not a natural one, which is a big turn-off. If I was in place of her make-up artist, I would be very tempted to clip her on the forehead with the make-up brush to make her stand still and stop darting her eyes. Her skin is ok due to her young age, but her looks are not the ones of the outstanding beauty.
Perfect. I like that there is no annoying background music or miscellaneous side bar conversation like most RUclipsrs do. This is straight to the point.
IDIOT.....if you have acne, acner scars, pimples...you don't need foundation you need an effective skin care system. See a dermatologist. Make up (foundation) only hides imperfection NOT cure it. You miss the whole point of the video, you moron.
F. Reyes Actually, you’re the idiot who seems to lack basic comprehension skills. She isn’t saying how to cure it, she’s saying how to cover it up. If you want to see how effective the products cover up what it claims to cover up, you’re going to want to use a model with imperfections as opposed to flawless skin like this model has. While having clear skin should always be the end goal, it may be important to learn how to cover those imperfections in the interim, and she’s saying how it’s important to showcase how well the products work with people who have imperfect skin as opposed to clear skin. The point of the video IS TO HIDE imperfections- that’s one of the main points of makeup. Get an education, will you, moron?
Even though i would never be able to buy all the products but it is so good to know what artists use, and what we can implement and improvise it on us as well.
I like your way of applying lipstick, your way of doing the reverse step n the process of following it along the natural lipshape instead of trying to make it look bigger n unnatural. Something soothing about his voice and the methodical way he applies make up. I like this video very much. Most of the techniques he did are doable. Might not be for faces with a lot of blemishes or freckles or zits to cover up, but it's great for the average skin (i.e,. minor dark circles, and blemishes). Bobbi Brown never disappoints!
I like how he used the word “polished” for the model. The key to makeup is to emphasise the features you already have to give a clean, awake presentation of yourself... rather than plastering, smothering or painting over your face
Makeup doesn't have to be natural. I personally think that the base is the only thing that needs to be "natural", but bright, fun colours are great for eyeshadow and and lip colour. Makeup can be an expression of individuality and artistry and it's not permanent, so experimenting is fun.
That came out really good , I’d love to see this on a female who has acne scars . I still at the age of 29 deals with breakouts and acne scars from un-proper treatment of a pimple . I use a full face of makeup and contouring to not only hide it to to also make my face structure stand out .. I fell in love with the Bobbi brown foundation which I’ll be buying soon
Shaz Baz because makeup is not to make you look pretty it's an art. Gives a pop to your face.just because you have a clear face doesn't mean you shouldn't enjoy the art of makeup.
Honestly I don't use makeup to look flawless it's just my passion. Makeup is an art. Just because she almost has perfect skin it doesn't mean she don't have to use makeup. Honestly I don't use makeup to cover anything, I love doing my makeup to have fun. 😊😊
I absolutely love B.B. makeup and the brand in general. However, if you look at her tutorials, the models are almost always young and have no imperfections. So of course the makeup is going to look gorgeous. Why not show us the same tutorial on a woman that is 30, 40, 50 and 60+ because that would be much more relatable and realistic.
Thanks for a very informative video. The number of products used helped me gain some insight into how we can choose various kinds of tools to hide or accentuate certain elements of the face perfectly. The narrator's voice is so soothing.
He didn't say which one he was using on her. And said nothing about red under eyes?! The product looks like it works well under her eyes, but she had basically no discolouration nor bags...so?
I enjoyed this make up refresher. The educator did a great job explaining the basic use of make-up, brushes and product description. I like how he kept it simple. As a BOBBI BROWN certified artist, having worked 2.5 years in this arena I’ve learned many things about applying make-up, even before I landed at BB. I’ve never considered myself a fan of anything; but I do strongly admire the woman who put HER passions to work and rocked my world with her book. I came across this book long before I went to Von Lee to learn make up artistry and years later came full circle to that very book and found myself at a BB make up counter. It’s a blog in itself. Suffice to say I am forever grateful for my experience with HER BRAND.
I think you should use a model with less perfect skin to demonstrate the effectiveness of your products! It doesn‘t have to be an older woman but at least someone struggling with discoloration or other imperfections. This model is so young and her skin is so even, she doesn’t need layers and layers. Other than that I loved it! I‘m a huge fan, just wish you‘d bring Bobbi back. BB will never feel the same to me without her!
C. Schmitz you are the only one I saw in this comment section who wants different type of model but deliver your opinion in positive words❤❤ someone's personality really shown up in RUclips comments, isn't it? Just curious... Are you going to stay with BB when Bobbi launching her own product? Well I definitely using BB for almost 10 years because of Bobbi's formula and philoshophy.
1. Serum - skin supplement 2. Hydrating eye cream - well hydrated smooth surface 3. Vitamin Enriched Moisturizer & Primer - Vitamins B, C, E 4. Lip balm - preps lip color, smooths skin, and conditions 5. Corrector - blue/purple = bisque shade or brown = peach shade; neutralizes colorization; apply to inner corner along lash line; before concealer 6. Concealer - Apply under entire eye; Yellow base skin tone correct concealer; match to rest of the face 7. Foundation - base on your skin type and coverage that you want; long term moisturizer; sweat and humidity resistant 8. Layer and build coverage with skin foundation stick; apply where needed 9. Powder smooths and finishes complexion; gets rid of unwanted shin; gently press on top of concealer; brush excess off 10. Sheer finish powder- Apply to oil prone areas to control oil through the day; T-bone first 11. Bronzer - warms, defines, illuminates skin; pick up the color through cheeks; natural tone blush; jawline; neck 12. Pop of color - place high on apple of cheeks 13. Lipstick - use lip brush for precision; follow with lip liner to blend in; matte formula locks in color 14. Brows - frames the face; fill in at arch for optimum lift 15. Eye shadow base - prime and prep lids; neutralizes discoloration; long wear eye base; extends the length of wear 16. Eye shadow - Light shade to brow bow to lash line (white) lays product down and blends, medium shade to lower lid below cress to lash line; define the line with eyeliner starting at outer corner; use eyeliner in smaller strokes 17. Mascara - curl the lashes; work in 3 sections to coat every single lash; use every part of the wand 18. Liner - Apply at root of lash line with medium shade usually rather than a dark shade ; add a touch of mascara at the bottom 19. Sheer powder brush for pink radiant reflective glow using highlight; add extra blush to finish 20. Take off - soothing cleansing oil removes makeup and soothes skin; splash with water to emulsify which means it’s activated to remove dirt and oil off of skin; rinse with water; skin is kept hydrated.
I will never understand how they layer corrector, concealer, foundation and then powder but somehow it never looks cakey. Then my face is over here looking like a whole goddamn bakery
@@sayrare9417 trust me im a makeup artist and it is not lighting and filters you just need to know right amount of makeup for yourself and right layering techniques. All the “but she’s a perfect young model, no fair!” comments... I can understand why the use of a young model is bothersome to people. But there are reasons why models are used in these demos. They need a person who is used to being on camera and has a face that looks good on camera. A pretty face isn’t always photogenic, but a model’s face is. They need a complexion that can be a canvas, so to speak. Sometimes when I see a demo with an older woman or one who has bad skin, it can take on an insulting vibe. Like “you’re so hideous with your wrinkles and zits, let’s fix you!”. You can still take away useful techniques from these demos regardless of the model used. And I’m 46!
I agree. I used some of these products to mature women and models or clients with problematic skin. It works well! As long you know how to use these products, or any other products, you will gain the same result, albeit you cannot change the texture. Just make a camouflage of a healthy and single coloured skin. The eye cream from Bobbi Brown is amazing btw! ❤
The point to the comments is even cheap makeup can make a model look good, but how about using that jam-up makeup on someone with problematic skin to show us what it can really do.. -It wasn't challenging, Cover Girl (yuck) could've done the same.
She is such a lovely girl and the makeup looks flawless on her but l would have more idea of the products' degree of coverage if you had used someone with a more usual level of skin discolouration and little imperfections. Thanks for the application tips. :)

i mean im not referring to the video content, I WANT BOBBI BROWN to be more realistic! show some model with acne or freckles to test their foundation coverage or as their claimed to be smooth as you apply it to your face!
Annalise Frost 😂😂😂considering the amount of traffic on yt for makeup tutorials; most people Do Not have "perfect" skin. Btw are you being paid by Bobbi Brown? Is that why you're defending them so hard...😾
sweet2thpuppylover exactly, that's my point, most people don't have perfect skin, they're using models that don't need that much makeup, making their product useless for some reason, 😂😂😂
This model doesn't even need any makeup...she has PERFECT skin...why can't they do someone with problematic skins...i.e...dry or oily...actually both, that would be helpful, I can't even watch the whole thing...
Because the aim of the video is showing you how to use each Bobbi Brown product, not teaching people how to hide the problematic skin with their products. You can go to your local Bobbi Brown store and ask for a tutorial for your skin. All Bobbi Brown artists are professional. They will be willing to help.
@@sleepysalsw That is no reason since they can as well show how BB products work- on problematic skin. They could even more show off when they do a good job because if the products are so good that they even make, let’s say, dry skin look nicer or doesn’t crease it is just the more reason to buy the products for the majority of people that isn’t blessed with perfect skin.🤷🏻♀️
I was looking for the right order to apply makeup, but I really didn't expect so many steps in the process... holy guacamole... Also agree, make a series of makeup videos for different types of skin, different ages, different types of face. It would earn you so many points.

Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else needs to find out about makeup course at mac try bloom blueprint crusher (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my m8 got excellent success with it.
I am obsessed with makeup and making a career out of my passion. I love learning new things and this is the perfect video for me especially because I’ll be entering the world of beauty soon 😍
You've got your work cut out for you. I was looking at stars and models( mostly actresses) before and after makeup. Sorry to say some of them are downright UGLY. So most of it is Makeup. I wear none.
Who cares if you can't watch the whole thing? What are you going to do about it? Let us enjoy the video and go whine somewhere else.
😊😊 im using this at my artistry presentation 😊😊
I was looking for the right order to apply makeup, but I really didn't expect so many steps in the process... holy guacamole... Also agree, make a series of makeup videos for different types of skin, different ages, different types of face. It would earn you so many points.
We appreciate you reaching out to share your feedback Li Na. We invite you to chat with our online Bobbi Brown Artists for personalized application tips and shade advice (you can even upload your photo). Click here to connect with them: bit.ly/BobbiLiveChatUS.

Im seriously in love with the guy 😍❤
His mascara advice was the best I'd ever heard!
Informative yet relaxing tutorial .
That's what you call a Professional Make Up Artist; he thoroughly explains what he is doing and shows the application and finished look. There is nothing worse than a MUA that's all over the place and talks too fast, LOL
I have spent months researching into how to become a makeup pro and discovered an awesome resource at bloom blueprint crusher (check it out on google)

Im almost 53 and everyone comments on how good my skin looks. Dont wear it. Maybe if I did Id be model gorgeous too. 😂 Good luck...
Very easy simple and helpful tutorial ...i reallyyyy love it 😊👍
