EXACTLY. Like when Troy Surrat appeared on Lisa Eldridge's channel, or Mary Greenwell, or Lisa herself. They are the real thing, just like this guy. Scott seems like such a genuinely nice person, and what an immense, natural talent. This was a blast to watch! You know what? I think Tati is genuinely talented as well--not just a "RUclips guru" and so, I'd love to see her do someone else's makeup now and then (besides her sisters--that is a blast, but you know what I mean.) It's really fun and interesting watching her work on someone else, too.
And like with less than half products that RUclipsrs use for literally all body, that all means professional!

Neha Rajagopal I’m a hairstylist/makeup artist and we once had to halt a shoot because of the lighting this girls skin was looking green/grey and her hair hand this weird dull green undertone to it that shouldn’t have been there. It’s rough if everybody isn’t on the same page or isn’t bringing their A game

@@neharajagopal1200 Wouldn't call lighting "simple" to be honest. There are a million ways to place and aim a lamp, decide how bright it is, what shape the light gets (with different pieces you put in front), what kind of shadow you want it to cast.. Lighting is an intricate game.
Yes. Lightning is everything.. That's one of the major reasons hair and makeup artists wear black. Light bounces off color and can distort a look.

This woman has a beautiful foundation (or palate) for makeup application. Great cheekbones, eyes, smile, skin, skull shape. Basically, she's naturally beautiful without makeup.

this is specific makeup for a video or photography where you can touch up as needed and you need high contrasts. So some techniques and tips won't translate to natural light or fluorescent lighting just keep that in mind

I actually found it super refreshing how he didn’t use a lot of brands that everyone uses. I love Sephora as much as the next person, but it’s interesting to see someone who doesn’t care too much about the popularity of the brands that they’re using, but rather the quality of the products.

sarah yeah I find that the brands that regular people use are popularized because of people that promote them, and overall how easily accessible the products are. Makeup artists tend to spend time researching different brands that perform beautifully, no matter who used their products.
I've never seen her makeup look better than this. It looks absolutely stunning. I also don't think I've seen her look so excited lmaoo she's like dying trying to contain herself

I felt so understood when he broke out that Neutrogena spray. That is my go-to sunscreen because it is the only sun protection that doesn’t make me look ashy as hell. Yes! Barbie skin!

This was truly awesome to watch. I have a degree in makeup artistry and have worked in the industry for quite a while but I have mad respect for his brush movements. The movement of his brush especially over your cheekbone highlight was nothing short of perfection! Great video
