TNH The palette actually isn’t that big in size. It’s smaller than the Jaclyn Hill palette from Morphe. I was really surprised when I got mine I thought it would be much hugger because it looks big on the screen. But the size is really user friendly when holding the palette and using its mirror and would be great for travel. I do love the palette, I was just surprised about the size but it’s still worth the value regardless of it.

I would really be interested in seeing how Scott Barnes handles hygiene when it comes to his makeup. I’ve been using stainless steel palettes and mixable lip palettes for clients, so that I’m never double dipping or touching pan/applicator to face. I saw that his lipstick book has a lot of individual tubes. Does he use a brush to dip into those, and then cleans it before his next client, or does he use the wands that they come with? These are the kind of things I would love to hear him talk about (although it may not be as interesting to the rest of the audience).
By the way, I LOVE when you bring him on here. His work is so gorgeous and unique, and he seems so fun to be around. I feel honored to even be able to see THE Scott Barnes “behind the scenes.”
I was looking at these videos that show makeup artists makeup stash and I don’t remember if it was Mario who had ziplock backs with makeup essentials for every client he had cause it was fast and he liked working directly from the tube.
Evelirium Z yes it was Mario, but the thing is if you have a client that comes to you really often it’s correct to have certain products just for her but if they don’t come back it wouldn’t work. Rebecca Capel has some really good video on hygiene.
He uses soy sauce dishes to dispense product in and then use with his brushes..

Agreed! I really want more in depth from his palette in particular on maybe a light medium dark. Just so we can get an idea what can be used where and which colors might be better for different skin tones. He explains his contour palette has different shades compared to a traditional contour palette. So interesting to see. Like the one red he explained for the jaw was awesome, but see if it translates to different tones. Hopefully on his channel he will!

Kelly Villines I don’t really see that as being a dig at her. Tati is a professional and he knows that. She did freelancing makeup for years. She knows what works and what doesn’t. She’s kinda got the best of both worlds because she understands the professional side as well as the consumer side.

When Scott said Tati's palette has looks in a diagonal line, I never thought about it. Her palette became even more user friendly for me. Honestly, it's great for beginners for so many reasons. Thank you again for making it, Tati!
She talked about that on her channel before. I thought it was a brilliant play on how Natasha Denona sets up her palettes(she does something similar with the arrangement of her shadows)
I have to admit that I find her palette sooo difficult to create looks with, even with the diagonal thing... Indeed ND made her metropolis palette like that (and they work in quads), and that for some reason is so much easier to me than this one.

@@christinekilcomons497 Well, i think the nose contouring was just to showcase Scott's new palette, and while I do agree with you, it is over the top for everyday use I think Scott's signature makeup style isin't known to be natural, case in point his catch phrase, "snatural". He is JLo's makeup artist afterall, its more attuned for concert and editorial style makeup which isin't for everyone. The eyelashes and eye makeup did point to a more "night time glam look". Makeup is makeup, not everyone has to like what the next person does. Granted, my statement is just my humble opinion, it may not resonate with you and thats okay man.

It's amazing how much makeup he's putting on her but it doesn't even look like anything it looks like her skin. All of the face makeup looks natural but still gorgeous and glam, and he made her eyes huge. I love it.
