Oh please now you HAVE to do Pride and Prejudice the BBC mini series 😂 BJ's Diary is a modern retelling of that story and the author of BJ's Diary based Mark Darcy on the main character in Pride & Prejudice (Mr. Darcy) and specifically asked for the actor playing him in BBC version (Colin Firth) to play Mark here. It's vastly considered the best version of P&P and I'm sure you'll have a blast watching it!

No one has done a reaction for it yet on youtube! I think it would be a great movie for you and it has a pretty decent cult following! I would love to see it! Again, wonderful reaction to this movie I love Mark Darcy!
I was about Bridget's age when this movie came out, so it was a big deal to me at the time. Since then I have come to realize that no one, not one single person that we know anything about in this movie, is in a happy, healthy relationship. Not Bridget and Daniel (she knows from the jump that he's a bad boy but entertains wedding fantasies and then is shocked and devastated when he cheats on her), not Bridget and Mark (they have nothing in common), not Bridget's parents, not Bridget's friends, not even Bridget's parents' friends. Why does Lara agree to hide in the bathroom? Why does Bridget keep talking to Daniel after he's cheated on her ("If I can't make it with you, I can't make it with anybody")? Why does Mark walk out to get her a new diary without telling her where he's going and why? This is supposed to be a great rom-com, but it's awful. Bridget needs to grow up (and also stop smoking and drinking) and develop a sense of herself as a person deserving of respect!
Never understood the wisdom of hiring an American to portray Bridget. Each watching, I'm constantly wondering whether the accent is correct. Doesn't sound right to me but seems to satisfy most of my British acquaintances.
