I am so excited for the season 6 reactions. It's my overall favorite season. There's a specific Sophia centered episode and you know exactly which one I mean that just hits me in a very raw emotional way and I am looking forward to seeing your reaction to it. But like damn I forgot how sad this season was. They hit a lot of serious topics. Full stop the best part of Dorothy telling off the doctor in the restaurant is when his wife told him to shut up when he tried to cut Dorothy off. Remember when he said his wife became a blonde and became a new woman? And his wife is played by a blonde actress? That one line had an appropriate amount of resentment from the actress to sell it. I love the nuanced performances in this series.
I won't quibble with your ranking, Alexa. The Golden Girls is a personal experience and individual responses to the episodes have to be respected. But yes, all of these episodes were right up there in this phenomenal season of the series. This was a lot of fun, Alexa. Thank you.
