They just did that in Germany with a very very popular children’s show (adults loved it too). The kept the main character the same, he is animated and gave him with AI the same voice he had 40 years ago. He was voiced but a very famous actor who died long ago. Same set, new actors around him (actors and set are real life, not animated). It worked brilliantly. Why should AI only do bad stuff?
I didn't like this episode the first time I saw it, about 2 years ago, because it bothered me Blanche falling for him even knowing he was a gigoló.. I always skipped it. But today I was busy while it was running so I couldn't "skip" it.. I'm still not happy with that, but, all in all, it has very funny lines, including Blanche and Nick. I won't skip it again 🤗.. I love The Golden Palace 💜🌿.
I know that Rose was trying to be a good friend but. . . . . .had I been in Blanche's shoes, I would have told Rose to "mind her own dam* business. When Rose wanted to run off with "Buddy Rourke" on an episode from "The Golden Girls" NO ONE could tell her that she was wrong!! When Dorothy tried to tell her that Rourke was a CON, she did NOT listen. The ONLY reason he didn't BILKE her out of her savings was because she HERSELF realized that she did NOT LOVE him. There are times when individuals NEED to have their OWN experience in order to learn and this was one of those times. Rose should have ZIPPED her lips😠😠😠
No, she shouldn't have. I'm glad she interfered. Blanche had fallen for him, and Rose put a stop to him and his games. I think Rose learned something with "Buddy O Rourke" and, in a way, with Miles as well. Dorothy, also I feel is why Rose is the way she is now. She is a smarter and stronger person than she looks and is on the GG's. I think the writers told Betty White to act like the GG's Rose when Dorothy came to visit as well for that 2 part episode.
@@emilyashley4820I 100% agree but Blanche wouldn't listen and they all tried telling her but she refused to accept it and continued helping him. Had it not been for Rose's meddling, Blanche would've possibly lost a lot more than just money.
Rose never found out about Buddy. Dorothy & the girls discovered it, but it was too late. Buddy just felt so guilty he spared Rose on his own. At the end of the episode, they decided not to tell her. Sophia said if Rose is happy, why hurt her with the truth? So your comparison isn’t even accurate.
