It's sad to me that she didn't end up with miles. I loved Miles and thought the actor did great with the role. I'm sorry Rose didn't get another love, but maybe in tv land she eventually did ❤️
The guy that played Miles had other commitments and couldn't continue with the show

I always thought Miles was so good looking for an old man. So alas he was off with other commitments, such as doing shoppers drug mart commercials for Canada.

It is BS that Rose and Miles were together for that long, he didn't marry her and then marries Fern so quickly. I feel like that is so unbelievable, especially how the character was for so long.

Golden Girls or Golden palace,l love all the episodes, it's sad none of them are living
Rose's remark to Blanche was spot on. And hilarious.
It's a pity the writers didn't keep it simple. Too many characters struggling for our attention. Just four girls in a house, dealing with problems. That's what made the Golden Girls such a success.
Not to mention the bad directing, goofy overacting and poor attempts at story

@Sherbase and the cheap jokes. No sets other than the lobby and kitchen. That scene where Roland is supposed to be running fast but they just hit fast forward.. and they thought it was so good they put it in the intro 😑
@@Oilydeath Yeah, they made the actors too cartoony. Blanche is also extremely annoying and seemingly has severe falling outs almost every episode. They also utterly destroyed Stan and Miles (who was already messy with the witness protection thing) for no reason other then to be zany. Not to mention that the premise of them buying a Hotel to begin with is insane despite Blanche's feelings to the main house.

I hate how miles was dating rose for so many years. Dumps her and marries fern right off the bat. I was hoping miles and rose where going go get married. And I wonder why the writers did that

I hated they never got married. I think Betty white said people came to her saying they were angry rose and miles never married.
I have always wondered what became of Miles in this series. I thought that Miles got completely written out before this show started.
Not sure where they get season 3 from. There was only ONE season of this show, 1992-93, it was cancelled due to a very low audience. CBS put them on Friday nights, bad night.
They might be labeling it that way due to copyrights, cuz ur right, there's only 1 season

Copyright issues with RUclips. The original TV series is already copyrighted, and uploading the original episode as it was would be copyright infringement bc the episode/show video doesn't originally belong to them. So they keep it up by giving inaccurate titles/descriptions so youtube won't take the video down.

I used to love this show but my Boyfriend has watched every episode they’ve ever made more then 2,000 times and now I hate to even hear their voices
Find something else to do when he watch GG ...go out and enjoy life.
U sound like my bf. I watch the episodes over and over bc the show relaxes me and it reminds me of my childhood with my parents and grandparents. Back when the world was Aok lol! Life just seemed different then but maybe it's bc I had no worries but being a kid!

Did not care for this show at all. I watched the first episode and knew right off the back this was NOT going to be a winner.
It just wasn't the same, and idk who decided to put that smart ass kid in this show but they got rid of him after a few episodes, nobody wanted to watch a mouthy kid talk back to everyone...I think they were trying to replace Dorothy
