"Enchiladas Rancheras" is a nod to the first episode of The Golden Girls when Dorothy asked Coco what was for dinner.
I think my favorite thing about this show is how gently it eases you into the slightly changed music cues. The first episode was all classic GG music, to set the viewer’s mind at ease; these are still the characters we love and the setting is different but a lot is the same, don’t worry… and over the course of the first episodes it veeeery gradually introduces a peppy, tropical vibe, or a holiday vibe like this episode. As we grow accustomed to the new setting and characters, more and more of the music cues become more and more different, but always familiar. You always feel like you’re at home.
Whoever did the music is an absolute genius.
I love this show I wish it would have stayed on

Growing up all my life in Miami Beach I don't think I've ever seen anyone dress like that because it was too cold outside LOL we all know what the real name of the group that demanded the hotel to remove all Christmas items is. You live in Miami, you see them, or you catch them it's too hard not to notice.

Xmas is the hardest time of year for those without family, but I would never deprive others of the joy of Xmas. That just seems wrong. However, I do wish the whole marketing madness would go away. Nobody needs that stress.

My family has tacos every Christmas.
although I do find some of the comedy funny I dont get the attitude of workers towards their bosses, when have any of us plebeians ever been able to get away with talking to our bosses like they do, I accept when the bosses occasionally have to remind staff whom works for whom, in some tv shows.

She ended up leaving the golden girls in the last episode of 'the Golden Girls' series and this episode is after she left and this episode is from the series is called the Golden Palace.

She got married to Blanche,s uncle, played by Leslie Neilson, not sure if I spelled his last name correctly.
She did appear in one of the episodes of Golden Palace.
She wanted her mother, aka Sophia to leave and live with her and her husband because, she felt Blanche and Rose had Sophia working too hard for her age.
Bea Arthur had decided that she'd had enough of the golden girls and it was time for her to leave the show on a high note. The producers and the other actresses wanted to continue so they made this spin off to take things in a new direction.
