Rose did seem to become stronger than she was on The Golden Girls, which is one of the reasons that made this show interesting wishing that it never got canceled. I believe if The Golden Palace aired at a later time like a year later after The Golden Girls ended, the show would have survived better than it did.

To cancel this or whoopi sitcomes tells me something is wrong with this world!

This is NOT S2 episode 1!!!!! They only did one season of Golden Palace. Dorothy was only in Season 1 ep 7 and 8. This is episode 7!!!! spoilers Dorothy visits her ex-roommates at the Golden Palace, hoping to convince Sophia to come and live with her and her husband in Atlanta.

Writing was off from get go here... seem forced jokes and laughs.... too much laughing... side actors, not a good fit...

Loved these guys and this film when I was a kid. Remember renting it for the week for £2 from a man that drove round with a car boot full of videos.

“I’ll get your pie” 10 seconds later - “that my best suite!” Yep Dorothy will always be the glue of the golden girls no matter what.

When Dorothy told that entitled customer why she wasn’t going to tell him to have a nice day. Is the reason why she will always be my favorite character.
