Greetings from Scotland! This incredible performance is still just the very tip of the enormous iceberg that is Diana's unique voice and her talent! For example, Diana was just 15yo here! Currently Diana is 21yo and I've been following her career since she was around 13yo. Diana is a natural *Dramatic Contralto* so the lower registers are her comfort zone but she has increased her range even more since this. She also naturally sings with *polyphonic overtones* so it sounds like many voices at the same time! Any song, any genre, in any language, Diana can sing it and improve it! You need a little back story to understand what helped "create" this unique phenomenon:- Diana's birthmother had multiple miscarriages but when Diana came along, she seemed to hate her. She verbally and physically abused her, trying to drown her and belittle her. It all culminated when (at 3yo) a passing relative found her in her home with a broken collarbone and several other injuries. She went for the authorities who removed Diana from her birthmothers care and placed her in an orphanage. For almost 2 years Diana never gave up hope and she knew that she was meant for something better. (This story is in her Wikipedia entry) Finally her new mother (Irina Ponik, who worked as a masseuse there occasionally) Signed her adoption papers and took her home. She vowed to pay Irina back for her kindness. Irina had a real struggle because Diana had obviously been badly affected by the experiences and at 5yo, she had a very bad stammer. It was recommended that she be taken for singing lessons to help this and immediately it was recognised that Diana had perfect pitch and an excellent ear for music and songs. 1 year later, at 6yo, Diana was performing solo on stage! This young unique phenomenon sang everywhere and anywhere she could, working constantly to earn money for the family who rescued her. At *13yo* she held her 1st solo concert and one of the songs she sang was in a very rare *Sephardic Jewish/Spanish* dialect, a song called *"Me Voy"* (I'm leaving) with a power and emotional commitment that staggers belief! ruclips.net/video/-9_c5fPrqno/видео.html She was already winning every contest in Russia and other countries that she could get to. Loved your reaction to this super talented young lady You might, like many of us admire and love her even more when you learn of her dreadful beginnings. She is an inspiration. Diana had a really rough start to life. She was neglected and abused by her mother. At age 3 1/2 she ended up in an orphanage quite badly traumatized. When Diana was about 5yo, a kind woman named Irina became Diana’s legal guardian and along with her family took on the task of rehabilitating her. About the same time a speech therapist recommended Diana take singing lessons to overcome a bad stammer brought on by the earlier abuse and the rest is history. Turned out Diana loved singing, was very good at it and had a superb musical ear (and perfect pitch according to some). The result of Irina’s efforts is this delightful, talented young woman we all love and admire. See Diana’s Wikipedia entry for details of her singing progress and career. Diana is 15 here. 21 as of May 31st. She is in the last year of University work in Moscow. She attends GITIS - The Russian Institute of Theatre Arts. She's magical. Find her dark, minor key cover of Elvis Pressley's Can't Help Falling In Love. I guarantee you that you have never heard anything like it. It's operatic, cinematic, dark, creepy and sensational. Diana's range from Dramatic Contralto to D6. Yes Diamsh has better range, but he just vocalist and nothing else. Dimash is far away from Diana's talent. Dimash should take a lessons from Diana how to beside being great singer, to became extraordinary AMAZING SUPER START who Diana is right now.

Diana was 15 years old on this video, she is 21 now and she is more powerful than ever. This is only the tip of the iceberg her range and vocal abilities are insane, this much is nothing you have to see he when she is really serious about it. People in general start with her performance of "Can't help falling in love" because in that song she shows 50% of her powers, i can't provide a link because it gets deleted but it is easy enough to find, you can just search her name with the song title, just make sure to watch the 9 minute video not the 3 min one because that is chopped of and was stolen from Diana's channel.
