We're doing this for our show 2020 opener, along with Bad Romance, Bad Day, and Bad Medicine. It's called It's All Bad. Makes sense for 2020 I guess... 😂😅
The people who write these pieces need to understand that the melody of a song can be played by more than just the trumpets. 😂 I mean like I’m sure these people know what they’re doing but they need to fix that problem with this song. It’s literally ALL TRUMPET! You could play this piece with just trumpets and it would sound good still.

I’m no expert so I’m not going to be an annoying RUclips keyboard warrior who pretends to be one, but I do know a decent amount of stuff about band as I’ve played in a very good one for 3 years now and counting. Over the course of those three years we’ve had a few songs where trumpet parts were limited to only the melody in the chorus section of the music. Then throughout the rest of the piece, the low brass, or wood winds held the melody. It still sounded good aswell. So you don’t always need the trumpets for stuff to be heard.
@@pblount340 As you just said, you were in a decent band. That normally implies that you were decently sized as well. Smaller bands' low brass tend to struggle. Also as a pep band piece, it tends to be smart to give the melody to a high pitched instrument so when people sing along, the melody can be heard over the bad out of tune singing and not through it so that you dont highlight how bad the singing actually is.
