HalloLeute It just takes work, man. C above the staff isn't incredibly uncommon in Marching Band music, so I wouldn't call it unreasonable for, say, a first trumpet player in a high school Marching Band to be able to play that high, but range of course isn't everything there is to being good at playing the instrument..
i just quit band for second semester and im really going to miss playing all the stand tunes ESPECIALLY this one this one is my absolute favorite one of all. im really going to miss it
In my band you can't even hear the flutes half the time. Then again they're in the back while I'm an alto saxophone player in the front surrounded by percussion and trumpets, so I can't hear them as it is.

So let's take a moment to appreciate the tenor sax too!
I love the Tenor part for this tune its my favorite to play. I'm also pretty hyped to be playing bari sax this year for pep band and that part is just as fun to play. Every once and a while you will get the baritone t.c. part. Keep practicing and you will just get better and better
@beatzcx7298 I was solo for about 3 years and then my buddy switched from clarinet to tenor. Our band has grown a lot over the past few years. I'm still solo in concert band though. I love playing saxophone and I'm going to enjoy it for as long as I can

+Quil Bill technically any size with a small enough neck, but I wouldn't go larger than the standard mouthpiece because you can still play those notes on a trumpet, you just need practice... Took me 3.5 years to learn how to do that stuff, bet you could do it quicker than me

Fallout Skates not lungs. Chops.
When it literally says play the highest note possible, like holy crap. Also what is the biggest mouthpiece size you can get for trumpet anyways?
+Quil Bill technically any size with a small enough neck, but I wouldn't go larger than the standard mouthpiece because you can still play those notes on a trumpet, you just need practice... Took me 3.5 years to learn how to do that stuff, bet you could do it quicker than me
