  • My personal recommendation is to get some CP 3.0 Batteries along with XC 6.0 high output's and you'll have a nice well rounded line up of batteries.
    Buy M18 Batteries Here:

If you want to be able to charge this or any of the high output batteries quickly you'll need a Milwaukee Super Charger found here:

CP batteries are the lightest and most compact.
XC battery packs, or “extended capacity”, are for your mid sized tools. M18 XC batteries can provide tools a boost in performance, if only by a little bit.
HD battery packs, or “High Demand” are for the longest use times, and run less hot. This is for stuff like table saws, miter saws, etc.

You should put a link to the video you mentioned at the beginning of this video, because I checked your videos and I couldn't find the one you were referring to

The cp2.0 is way underrated. It is light, compact and perfectly adequate for 80% of what even pros do with their Milwaukee tools. When it comes to an impact driver, oscillating tool, even a mid torque impact wrench, I’d rather use a lighter battery that I have to change every 2 hours instead of a 5ah I have to change every 5 hours.

i have a bosch impact drill 25618 and both bartteries that came with it was bat612 and they don't work at all and i don't understand why. i had it going on 3 years and i only use it once and i never charged them so i heard the battery died and the other one stays with 3 bars showing. so i want to purchase a high output battery for my impact drill

Xc 5 is 18650 and the xc6.0 high output is the 21700 I think torque test chanel has a video taking them apart or something great video btw were all a bunch of Milwaukee fan boys lol but they are the best imo

I'm looking at the CP 3.0 I have a regular and rapid charger so running 4 of them for my driver and drill I have more than enough power for the day.

I'd like a mains powered battery with a cord, so I could use my cordless tool as a 110v mains tool.

In the beginning you spoke of correctly charging batteries. So why would you recommend wrecking them with a supercharger or rapid charger? Really? Wow

The 6.0 HO batteries also dump energy better than the 8.0.

High output 6.0 has the highest punch

Hah, yeah, the ‘reason’ you see the 5.0 in all the ads, and such as you state, is because the 5.0 is what they make their money off of. It’s a solid battery, don’t get me wrong, but you’re falling into the bigger is better mindset. Like ‘Classic Cut Garage’ mentions below, a smaller battery has it’s place. Now I have EVERY Ah battery Milwaukee makes, from the lowly 1.5, on up to the 12.0 HD battery. I love my M18 Surge, and it runs just fine on the 1.5, or preferably the 2.0. Compact and lightweight, when I’m working in confined or overhead spaces. The CP 3.0 with 21700 cells mates up nicely with the Surge. It is quite a good battery. My Favs would have to be the H.O. 8.0/6.0 batteries. YMMV. Peace 👍
