3rd party batteries & chargers are an excellent way to burn your house down. Wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole.

Same. No Ul certification, made with cheap components in china. No thanks. It's a few dollars for a charger. A few hundred thousand for a house.

I'm not gonna lie, those Amazon batteries get drained by my grinder, hackzall and drywall router. On the other hand, the charge lasts much longer when I use them for my drywall gun and radio.

I use third party in my radios, lights and fans. In those usages they typically have 90% of the capacity of a Milwaukee battery. I do not use them in any other tools

    Greets from Germany

between the 6.5 and a genuine 5ah? probably not, but if I was looking to upgrade from a bunch of 2ah batteries? I think it'd be worth it to have a few lying around as backup.
The main problem with those knock off batteries is they dont retain power and become unusable pretty quick. One of them I left in truck for a few months during a cold winter, it just died.

Third party batteries will blow the motor controller board on your expensive Milwaukee FUEL power tools. I only use genuine Milwaukee batteries knowing that third party batteries will void the tool warranty.

Third party batteries are a risk not worth taking. Lithium Ion batteries are no joke and shouldn't be played with. You get what you pay for. I know they cost a bit of money but they come with a warranty that the cheaper one doesn't. Think back to hover boards bursting into flames due to cheap lithium ion batteries. People lost homes and people got hurt. Use common sense when it comes to power tools.

Don't do it. The department I work for tested a bunch of 3rd party batteries to international requirements under section 38.3 of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria. Guess what, 50% of the 3rd party batteries failed one or more of the required testing criteria. However, when we tested OEM batteries from Milwaukee, Dewault, Makita, etc. they all passed.
