I met Sissy in New York .... at an event honoring the 20th anniversary of Missing. She is exactly what you see here. Charming, real, a delightful human being. I couldn't believe she talked to me for nearly 15 minutes. I loved every second of that conversation. Later that evening she introduced me as her good friend.... preceded by "what's your name again?" She's beautiful and fantastic. I love her.

She is by far my favorite American actress. I adore her! All her movies, I’m so glad that her older daughter resembles her so much and pursued a musical career, the one she was not able to fulfill -but that is ok as I’m glad she pursued acting and became the icon that she is. What a wonderful lady, mother and wife too since 1974 I believe. God bless her!

CMD was my favorite movie.. I so identified with her childhood character, the restlessness of her present and hopelessness for the future... I waited on Sissy Spacek, 15 years ago, at a party at a country club here in Virginia. She is a big star, but she was amazingly patient and polite. Every time I served her, she made it a point to look at me in my face and smile and say, “Thank You.” She is ‘First Class’, all the way! Love her!
