I have discussed this before, and am not totally convinced I am wrong as yet, but the situation with the hanging scene of Michael J Fox to me, may have been the trigger that began his onset of Parkinsons. Similar to what a doctor once told a friend of Muhammad Ali in that "The constant hits to the head sent massive trauma to the part where the neck meets the skull that it triggered perhaps a pre-existing condition to Parkinsons or caused it altogether." Because unfortunately, it was soon after this incident with the hanging that Michael J Fox was diagnosed himself, I can't help but feel this may have been the trigger that started it. Tragic if that has any truth to it.
I thought Parkinsons was a genetic disorder, plus I remember hearing something about how he had been diagnosed with it at an early age... like when he was like 8/10 years old... It just became public knowledge sometime during the shooting of the BTTF movies when he couldn't control it anymore without the meds! ... I don't know! Maybe you're right!
Perplexia X It is a genetic disorder mostly in that if a parent has the condition, it is likely to be passed on to the children. But Michael did not have a parent effected by the disease. He was not diagnosed with the condition until he was on the set of Doc Hollywood when he noticed a twitch in his little finger he could not control. This was after the BTTF franchise had ended. Surly enough, something I had noticed in some of his other films, notably in the first Back to the Future, and in Casualties of War MJF was seen in one or two scenes where he would fall over backwards and hit his head violently (Especially the scene where his is hit by the car and you can see the back of his head his the asphalt) Plus in COW when he hit the same part of his head on the train tracks. Though I know this is all just movie falls and not as hard as the real thing, these too seemed to be quite aggressive impacts on the same part of his head. Hope this was not also part of what triggered all his issues as well. But since I am not a GP or expert on this matter, everything I ask is just questionable opinions on "What if's?"
MissEmai Not fully. You can see a lot of the close ups that are on MJF face that it is him hitting his head and doing the majority of these. Don't forget this was 1985, and there were not as much regulations and demands by insurance companies to make every little stunt done by a stunt person.
I don't know if that flies, gutz1981, I'm pretty sure that Tom Cruise does almost all of his own stunts, at least, I've heard that That is what he claims. ...but feel free to correct me! It sounds like you're in the know me than me!
Okay one good one wouldve been that when the tarantula is on Marvs face in home alone, that scream is genuinely real. He admitted to being terrified about the spider
Daniel Stern had to mime a scream and they had to add it in later with ADR post-production. If Stern had screamed at the spider on his face, he could accidentally kill it.
@@RJALEXANDER777 I'm not talking about Steve Carrell's performance. I'm talking about Heath Ledger's performance for blowing up a hospital. Everyone somehow believes his reaction to the bombs stopping and restarting is a real reaction. Nolan has stated everything in that scene was scripted. Even Heath's reaction.
you missed in iCarly when freddie and sam kissed and carly saw them, carly's reaction was real. the only ones who new about the kiss were the producer, freddie and sam. you should include this part
The Blair Witch Project did have a lot of genuine emotions when filming, but the main scene showed as an example, the scene where Heather cries in front of the camera, was actually just acting. Thanks to Karl Smallwood of FactFiend for that little nugget of trivia
You missed a BIG one In Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring Gandalf went into bilbos house and bumped his head on the chandelier which was on script but then hit the ceiling which was not but he was amaizing on staying in character that Peter Jackson kept it in
Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind. Jim Carrey gets punched by Kate Winslet, the punch was not rehearsed or in the script, so his auch and reaction was also real.
The thing is that an actor/ actress in not pretending to be something when acting, but they're becoming something which means that they're actually trying to feel what the character in the scene feels. So if they get the feels that the character feels without trying it looks realistic because it is real.
I know I'm late but another one is from the Outsiders. The guy playing Dallas Winston actually fell from his seat during the theater scene and everyone laughing was genuine reactions.
It's hard to forgive Kubrick letting Shelley Duvall cop such rough treatment on set, especially when you see how ill she is nowadays... If she was always so fragile it's a rotten thing to have done for a performance.
1:02 A note: he did of course NOT smudge his blood in her face. That scene didn't have anything like that in it but after Leo hurt his hand this badly they wrote this in to get consistency in the film and they of course used fake blood after Leo had been stitched up, since he cut him self really bad into the bone and had to wore a bandage through the rest of the movie. I remembered when I saw this scene the first time that it just didn't 100% really looked like it was a scripted thing in one way when he cut his hand up, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. There is a behind the scenes on this part on the yt.
why do you tell me to subscribe before ive watched your damn video. it makes me less likely to watch any others, or even have the thought of subscribing.
I saw on another similar list that it might had something to do with the scene were they hit her in the stomach and she ´s falling on her knees. Apperantly the pain when she hit the floor was real because she hit the cement floor too hard or something. But I´m not 100 % sure.
Another great moment is the opera scene from The Fifth Element. The shocked/amazed look on Bruce Willis' face once the performance is done is real because it was a one take shot and the cast/extras present for filming weren't really told about it. Also, if I remember correctly, the singer actually ended up being the director's wife since the original singer couldn't make it last minute due to an emergency
You missed pirates of the Caribbean when captain jack sparrow yells ‘I GOT A JAR OF DIRT I GOT A JAR OF DIRT!’ That was not scripted that was just him being him(you can also see will looking at the camera for a split second with a facial expression of ‘wtf is going on this wasn’t the plan)
Yeah and funny thing about that is that he ACTUALLY HAD AN JAR OF DIRT... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
fun fact: he did this because the cannons in the ship were delayed and he needed to fill the silence
When Jack falls down the stairs, that wasn't acting either.

Alan Rickman.
The Man Who Played Many Roles.
Lost To Pancreatic cancer.
The Man Who Is Rememebered By Severus Snape.
May He, And All, Rest In Peace. 😭👼💞💐🥀⚰️
Rest In Peace
This is why I absolutely respect and cherish every actor that truly throws themselves into a roll. It's pure artistry, and a beautiful thing can be created when someone is so passionate.
Denzel Washington in glory was not actually whipped and his son was off screen and that was what made him cry
Otg! (Oh, thank God!)
🤔🤔🤔
?
I was about to say wtf??
where did you read this
The glass in hand is in like 1 in every 3 of these videos I swear.
In LOTR Viggo Mortensen actually blocks the dagger because the actor missed the throw intended for the tree next to him
Denzel Washington being whipped for real is hands down the most badass scene ever! Those whiplashes cut through him till his very core... He never was the same after that... He became better at everything he did as an actor, as well as a human being :)
Missed one: in season 3 of stranger things when eleven threw nilly through the wall and fell into mikes arms wasnt in the script and u can see finn looking at the crew. millie was just exhausted
That's a TV show. These are movies lol.
7:28 "It didn't take long for Washington to harness the emotions and struggle his ancestors had to go through for years"
ooooooooooookay...
Bruh..
Bruh wtf is this comment
That’s exactly what I thought
if u think about what he said again, its fucked up..
ifkr...
Perplexia X
It is a genetic disorder mostly in that if a parent has the condition, it is likely to be passed on to the children.
Okay, well, I will just say I stand corrected! I'm not an expert on the man,
I was just relating some info I had heard somewhere! Thank you! :-)
MissEmai
Not fully.
The scene From Glory when Denzel Washington's character is whipped was one of the most moving scenes I have ever seen in a film.
9:38 to 9:51 if he actually broke his toe im laughing my *ss off everytime i watch that scene
10:15 I like how I just said, “they better have The Exorcist on this list.” Lmao
I liked the stormtrooper who bump his head.. oh wait.. it wasn't on this list.
oml yes i love that scene they should've put it in the list
I'm glad the stormtrooper head bonk wasn't in here. I hate it.
@@honeystly_disgusting6393 You mean that scene with that guy who did that thing? Me,too.
@@krishopson9214 So the scream was fake but his terrified reaction was genuine?
@@RJALEXANDER777 I'm not talking about Steve Carrell's performance. I'm talking about Heath Ledger's performance for blowing up a hospital. Everyone somehow believes his reaction to the bombs stopping and restarting is a real reaction. Nolan has stated everything in that scene was scripted. Even Heath's reaction.
you missed in iCarly when freddie and sam kissed and carly saw them, carly's reaction was real. the only ones who new about the kiss were the producer, freddie and sam.
you should include this part
They didn't include it because this video is about movies...iCarly was a TV show.
Awesome! The only one I was aware of was Viggo kicking the helmet. Great video!
You forgot princess diaries when she falls through the bleachers
The Blair Witch Project did have a lot of genuine emotions when filming, but the main scene showed as an example, the scene where Heather cries in front of the camera, was actually just acting. Thanks to Karl Smallwood of FactFiend for that little nugget of trivia
retsz love karl and fact fiend
You missed a BIG one In Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring Gandalf went into bilbos house and bumped his head on the chandelier which was on script but then hit the ceiling which was not but he was amaizing on staying in character that Peter Jackson kept it in
In the movie The Turning Point, the actress you said was Leslie Browne was actually Anne Bancroft!
What we need now is...
A GENUINE VIDEO !
I seriously want to hug Shelly for what she had to go through on the shining. She seems like a kind woman, I don't think she deserved that...
The joker claps during the promotion of comissioner Gordon was improvised and awesome !!
8:23
The poor guy you say?
Let's not forget poor Shara in that cell😑😂.I understand your humor tho😂😂
4:19 that’s Snape wow he looks so different
This proves ppl are committed to there job
Joker, 2019: He actually shot Murray
Joker: oh crap my gun was looded.
You missed the hospital blow up in "the dark knight", one of my favorites.
26 : Bryan cranston actually crying in the scene when jane was choking on her vomit cause he imagined his daughter dying.
Huh, The Exorcist..?
this is movie and that was a serie
you missed In Jurassic World when Chris Pratt kissed Bryce Dallas Howard They didn't tell her so her shock is completely real.
I was just about to say that :)
Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind. Jim Carrey gets punched by Kate Winslet, the punch was not rehearsed or in the script, so his auch and reaction was also real.
Matt Damon Saving Private Ryan when he's remembering his brothers. That one was a work of art.
fact: all the jump scares in I.T are real. The kids didn’t have a script for the jump scares
I love Steve Carrell
Ahmad Mooderes judging by your profile pic, I would imagine so
and I love prison Mike
Heath Ledger's reaction to the explosion in Dark Knight was natural. Apparently the charges didn't go off as planned.
Call Center Manager That's false
@@davea.k.atheaubergineman7134 no its truee
The thing is that an actor/ actress in not pretending to be something when acting, but they're becoming something which means that they're actually trying to feel what the character in the scene feels. So if they get the feels that the character feels without trying it looks realistic because it is real.
I loved that Wolf of wall Street scene .. I about died from laughing 😂😂
They forgot when Ross and Ben pranked Rachel in Friends, Rachel had no idea that it was a dummy.
#15 that's messed up
Yeah
"You get NOTHING! You LOSE! GOOD DAY, SIR!"
Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Keanu reeves and that one lady from the 'Pink Flamingo' are the most devoted actors I've see in the big screen.
I know I'm late but another one is from the Outsiders. The guy playing Dallas Winston actually fell from his seat during the theater scene and everyone laughing was genuine reactions.
Please dont add horror films. Im watching at 3AM and I think you dont want us to get heart attacks.
Aljon same. Im literally watching this at 3am too and had to skip the horror movie parts
Yeah that would be nice 😅
grow a pair of balls, kid
I don’t know it all seems kind of mean
It's hard to forgive Kubrick letting Shelley Duvall cop such rough treatment on set, especially when you see how ill she is nowadays... If she was always so fragile it's a rotten thing to have done for a performance.
Totally agreed.
Most of these were really fucked up.
it's simply abuse that the actors did not agree to
#3 - How awesome would that be, though?
"Where'd you get that scar?"
"Joe Pesci..."
Awesome quality content! I lobe your videos
I watch this video Everytime it pops up in my recommend. I cant be the only one
Linda Hamilton is one of the Greatest action stars of all time, not Sarah Connor, the character she played
so, if you act and be yourself on camera, you might win an Academy Award for something special.
Interesting.
Where is The Godfather horse head scene?
good point
1:02 A note: he did of course NOT smudge his blood in her face. That scene didn't have anything like that in it but after Leo hurt his hand this badly they wrote this in to get consistency in the film and they of course used fake blood after Leo had been stitched up, since he cut him self really bad into the bone and had to wore a bandage through the rest of the movie.
I remembered when I saw this scene the first time that it just didn't 100% really looked like it was a scripted thing in one way when he cut his hand up, but I just couldn't put my finger on it.
There is a behind the scenes on this part on the yt.
Some of these are cool and some are blatant abuse of the actors, like actually terrifying and upsetting them, actually whipping them? WHIPPING
why do you tell me to subscribe before ive watched your damn video. it makes me less likely to watch any others, or even have the thought of subscribing.
Tia D not having a homestuck fan as a subscriber isn’t that big of a loss
@@boulevard4145 Neither is having such a moron of a subscriber watching basically automated videos such a gain
Wait did sarah conner actually beat that guy
dramabitch147 9 thats what im wondering
Yes, story is that she was sick of him screwing up lines so she really clocked him and broke his nose.
J OConnell Niiicee
Wait, I didn’t understand that either. So she beat his ass and they kept it in the film? What?
I saw on another similar list that it might had something to do with the scene were they hit her in the stomach and she ´s falling on her knees. Apperantly the pain when she hit the floor was real because she hit the cement floor too hard or something. But I´m not 100 % sure.
The staircase scene in The Shining took 126 takes. *126.* I love Kubrick but that's a little unnecessary, no?
Every one of Bill Murray's lines in Ghostbusters II. That Casablanca one is very touching.
