335is Ultimate Transmission Service - DCT service, S55 Flywheel, Rear Main Seal

  • Servicing the Getrag Dual Clutch Transmission (GS7D36SG) in my 2011 BMW 335is. This is the same DCT in the E9x m3, F8x M3, F10 M5, F87 M2, and any Getrag GS7D36SG.
    Replaced the following parts:
    - S55 Flywheel
    - Rear Main Seal
    - Mechatronics O-ring
    - Mechatronics Gasket
    - Trans Oil Pan
    - Side Filter
    - Filter inside of transmission (pan)
    - Suction filter (Replaced since O-rings cannot be purchased)

      Absolutely! Only wanna remove the trans once before upgraded clutches.

      Glad it was helpful! IMO you gotta change all the gaskets, rear main seal, and s55 flywheel. Especially with most of these starting to get higher in mileage.
