That shot of the E36 hood with you pushing the cart across, just beautiful work. Love how this channel is balancing straight detailing with more restoration and mechanical stuff now. Keep it up, can’t wait to see what’s next!
I must say that is sometimes good to not have a car, space and tools like you have, my ocd would made me go nuts with stuff like this. I think I would have ended up with a completly chromed or candypanted and glittery gearbox. You did a wonderful job ,just as it should be.
It‘s Saturday, mellow Hiphop on my HomePod. Divin‘ through RUclips, and then a new video of yours! What a Chromatic twist! Nothing but love for this channel! 💯🔝
@@ChromaticGarage Thank you, I love what is going on with the projects, I have this one project, a 1990 Volvo 780 Bertone. It is a beautiful car but needs some work to get it running properly. Not enough time in the day for this project. It's a shame.
Did the same to mine when i swapped it back in 2020, ended up painting mine to help any further corrosion and make it look better of course. Also went delrin bushings, short shifter and DSSR
Man, you started out with a really clean transmission! Every time I get a trans to clean, you can't see any of the silver bits, it's usually caked in half an inch of grime/oil/dirt.
Brilliant job my Friend! I just started to feel that it would be funny to make a compilation of you constantly pushing your little Husky trolley around - I think it would go viral as one of the most relaxing videos ever. 😉🤜🏻💥🤛🏻😎
You should take a look at an Autosolutions Short Shifter. I had an IE one and upgraded to Autosolutions. It was night and day. BTW great content. Keep up the good work..
Thank you man! It’s funny a good friend of mine suggested the exact opposite of what you just said haha. It’s funny how that stuff works. I’ll have to see how it feels first 🙂
Hey man so I’ve got an 86 325es with the Getrag 260 (260.9.12 something) and I have to do the early to late model shifter swap, do you happen to know the part number or what year/model e30s have the 260? I need the shifter arm and I gotta find one that comes from any e30 with a 260 just not sure what years/sub model to look up since it won’t come up for my year/vin since it’s got the plate shifter
Long time ago that I commented, because repeating that i LOVE your videos does not add much I guess. However, this time, I was wondering: have you ever considered a sand-blasting chamber? A medium-sized one would suffice for transmission, brake parts and rims. It is so useful to have for paint prep work. That being said, I have no clue what it costs, both the chamber and the samd-blasting media, but I am just curious.
Some would say the level of attention to detail is obscene.. I say it’s completely justified. Pay attention to the things people don’t see and the things they do see will follow..
@@ChromaticGarage yes, RUclips keeps killing comments of those of us who arrive 1st to comment and still honestly watch the videos. I watch them in 1.75x, and 2x speed

Didn't know that it's so satisfying to watch a dude cleaning a gearbox... I hereby officially vote for a secondary channel "Chromatic Music" :D

I appreciate that the most Raphael! I hope the weekend has been blessed 🖤
I like how the piano music was taken from a Bach piece and given its own style.
Arthur knows his shit! I love that man 🖤

I hope to see some dry ice cleaning in the future, because I know you would make every mm of any car absolutely spotless. Keep it up man!
It’s coming man! Big investment that has taken some time. But very very soon 🖤😎
Just spent an amount of time that I will not disclose detailing, now I can watch this while making dinner. Life is too easy.
Hahaha Henry got it figured out. Hope your day was good dude!

Sweet. I just did a similar thing before my manual swap e28. Short shifter and fly wheel really make a difference
Hell yeah man! Glad to hear it. Enjoy the car all you can 🥺🫵

Ive also got a e30 320i from 1989 4 door sedan, i was thinking to add sound deadening in the interior, do you think its worth it?
Rad car man! I think if you would like a more modern feel inside the car then absolutely. It’s a game changer Forsure

Time to invest in a vapour blasting cabinet I think.🤣

Interessing you as à alpine CDA 9853 ?
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Griffin!
Do you work by yourself? If you do, do you find it difficult not having the socialization?
Mostly! And nah I find it’s easier to get stuff done when alone tbh. I have a puppy and a relationship with all the local Starbucks employees

Looks sick! Just a heads up, your voice is super low compared to the music. Makes it a bit hard to hear you without adjusting the volume
