do you recommend leaving the AMD Catalyst colors profile enabled where amd handles color profiles . my benq is 144 hz but @ only 8-bit color need to run it @ 120 hz to enable 10 bit color in AMD Catalyst

Thanks, Brian. I do three things to set up my monitor. I install the correct MSI driver, set the refresh rate to 100Hz, and turn the brightness down to zero because bright screens kill my eyes.
Just came over this video today.. and MAN I AM HAPPY!! Ive had so mutch trouble with my gameplay.. i did this and all ishues goes away🤩i had delays/screen tearing/bad grafics.. but after this perfect gameplay.. Thanks 🤩
I didn't even know i can install the .INF file by right clicking it lol. Also it finds out where it needs to be installed, i used to install .INF drivers from Device Manager by clicking update. Not anymore :D I always thought the drivers they include are ONLY meant for ICC profile for color accuracy or something. Never saw the .INF in there. Learned something new. THANKS!
Great video. I'm going to go and try all of that. I'm experiencing an issue whereby I get a black screen if dp cable is in. Can only see anything if use hdmi. Thousands of users on the internet have same issue. Monitor won't work solely with cord provided with monitor.
One thing I tend to find is that, every time I install a new graphics card driver, Windows goes and installs the generic monitor driver again. After every install, I always have to go and put my proper monitor driver back in.

This video was incredibly useful although I couldn't find any driver for the monitor of my laptop. Sigh. To be honest I find this whole thing of updating bios and drivers annoyingly convoluted and complicated.

I had to Delete the Generic PnP Driver and do a Fresh Manual Install of the MSI Drivers and I have 3 Monitors all with different Model Numbers
