My father had a brown one just like this in the late 1960's. I remember onetime the bus failed to show to bring our football team of c6 year olds to play a football match, and he managed to fit the whole team, plus gear on board to bring us to the game 😃

Beautiful car. My dad had a red 1967 new that looked exactly like that except that I believe that glove box door were red on his. I believe that 1967-68 had the front fender emblems and that they removed them on 1969-1971 models. This vid made my evening. Absolutely beautiful car.

I bought a 65 model in 76 for $200. Put in a new battery, new tires, drove for two years until transmission died. Moved from Atlanta to Florida, then to Louisiana in it. Great little car!

Timing chain
220 km I use 25 % Lucas Oil stabilizer will go for ever.

@@JoniK1 Nice! I've been building mine since 2015. It's almost finished, I still have to put the window machine(hope that's the name in English)to work -- which is a very hard thing to do -- and restore the front seats to make it perfect, hehe! :)

1.9 is not little for this car? I ask, because here in Brazil where we had as Opala the engines were 2.5 and 4.1, 4 and 6 cylinders, respectively. Pickup and bus equipped 6-cylinder engine, also with versions of 3.1 and 3.8 before being the 4.1
