Chevrolet Opala was a variation of the Opel Rekord 1900 made in Brazil, with an American Chevrolet turbo-thrift engine 230 in³ (3.8) until 1969 and 250 in³ (4.1), and four-cylinder, 151 in³ (2.5). The front and rear styling were made exclusively in the country, inspired by the Chevy Impala of the time. It was manufactured until 1992 with several restylings, but with the same bodywork as the classic Rekord C

Nou die ziet er nog gaaf uit en ook nog een 1900 Rekord. Als je er een ziet is het meestal ook een 1700.
Zelf ben ik opgegroeid ion de autohandel en toen ook heel veel opels gezien, sommige typen lijken veel op elkaar zoals de Diplomat sedan, A Admiral, A Kapitan '67, A Commodore en de Record lijkt er ook op. Vroeger zeiden we, die rijd in een opeltje Rekord maar vergeleken bij nu is het grote bak. Wat ik wel weet is dat ze lekker rijden dus wat dat aangaat heb je een mooi stukje antiek staan, zal ook wel wat op moten brengen denk ik? Waar zitten jullie eigenlijk want zou wel eens willen komen kijken wat jullie zoal hebben staan.
