There are three weapons that you've missed: - M5A3 and M13B; they are both SIG MCX, Spear (which fires 5.56 at base in game) and Virtus respectively - RM68 and Cronen Squall; they are both RM277 - AC9 and ISO 45; they are both B&T APC SMG's with each game having a different caliber hence their names.
@@mur3u204 i know that, but in game, the M5A3 uses 5.56, the same as the Virtus and Spear LT. It's only when you use the high power cartridge attachment that properly converts to .277. As a battlefield fan, cod has always had best animations. Battlefield animations are very simple, and robotic. Something feels off about them. The lower standard they have had it was with BF Hardline animations. It feel like they are reloading plastic/fake non heavy guns lol. The peak of animations quality and detail was Battlefield 1 and BF V. And they lower the quality of animations in 2042.
@@jeremie_gamingboyyeah the reloads aren’t realistic i don’t think that’s what people mean. It’s the fact that no matter what you say mw2 reloads and animations look very smooth and don’t look robotic at all. That’s why MW2 is regarded as having the best animations and sounds on any fps.
It's weird The animation team did a great job with how the guns feel and work in MWII, with great on screen visuals, recoil and complimented with booming sounds, 2042 certainly fell behind by a good distance here... You'd be hard pressed to beat that. But when it comes to actually DEPICTING the weapons correctly, somehow a game that takes place in a fictional future with many weapons being offshoots of real firearms, actually look closer to reality than a game that's meant to take place during more conventional times. I believe this is the main limitation of games that are primarily developed in California now what with laws regarding the depiction of firearms in media being placed there. For gun nerds, when you notice something is off, it really takes you out of the moment.

What intrigues me is that it uses the same color scheme as MWII's. It had a black lower part and a chrome top part.

Models and animations wise, these two games look a whole generation apart... with of course MWII being the generation above.
it's "2042"
Hyper made the fundamentals of weapon animations for MW
Nothing surpasses the quality probably for good, there's even no chance for Dice and EA

I agreed cod animation is well done, but just a lot of camera shake, nothing special. One more thing, hyper did not do all animations.
I don't think 2042's animations are bad. It's just MW's animations are too good compared to other titles.
