And so I'm asking... "what's important to you?"

Since my birthday, 4/25/20... I’m doing a daily FLOG (farm + vlog) here on RUclips. I’m doing my best to make something and share it… EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. (...or as often as I can with a working farm to run, tv shows to make and a sweet little six-year-old to raise).

Rory, you’re a country philosopher. Common sense and wisdom from God.
When Indy gets much older, you should seriously consider being a preacher. Just telling others about your journey could lead so many to the Lord. I'm so honored to know you even though its only through social media. LOVE 💘 is my most important ❤. And your actions show love 💘 every chance you get. God Bless You Rory
Hi Greg, Beautifully stated. He is a genuine "preacher/teacher" in that he shows God's love, in all things he does and says. He speaks from the Heart with truth. And, I believe like you mentioned that just telling others about his/their journey could lead so many to the Lord, and I believe it already has. This seems to be a wonderful way. the most important thing is hope and faith and dear rory this was our best songs i have heard and yes living on a farm in Vermont florence on fire hill Road. i am a single mom of 2 daughters and now a grandmother of seven and family does mean a lot home i had one in Oakville Connecticut and they do live by their selves i i’ve with a man that is 63yrs old and he is dying and i am scared how did you get through this i have lost my husband 23 years ago and it has been along hall i have be come along way and been through a lot of health wise i am not sure what my future will be come and i do have an heart and it is all about my children and daughters and hope we some day we can see each other that is what i have been saying about my choices in live have come a lot and important thing in live is fighting for live and yes family are important faith and hope is and my destiny are important i have come to grips that my life is important i am a survivor of cervival cancer and i will like to talk survive

The most important thing that matters to me is my son is 32 days without a epileptic seizure!! He is "special needs" as people call him. But like you say they're just special! I'm glad I still have my husband if 30 years with me. He has stood beside me whatever Lupus and breast cancer threw at me. I'm 4 years cancer free! It's really the small things that's important to me! Not the big things so much! You're raising Indy so good as a single father! You're letting her do her thing with some help from you! I know that Joey is so proud looking down on all if you. You're blessed!
Babies, toddlers and kids are pure innocence, happiness and joy. They bring those things into a home. 😙
I always felt I was given the short end of the stick in life. My mother died when I was seven and my father continued to be an alcoholic and a mean man.
I had no direction, I thought at the time.
I was always talking with God like He was always there with me.
I had a home but nobody was there. I was a Latch Key Kid. Wake up, nobody there. Go to bed, nobody there.
But there was. God was always there with me.
Today, I have a family! I have family when I wake up and I have family when I go to bed.
I love God because He blesses me and teaches me things to make me a better person.
Everything belongs to God. Without God I wouldn’t have anything.
People I love are gone but are with God. I miss them but God shows me that everything is okay.
I’m proud of you Rory for letting us in. You’re an interesting fellow.
What’s important to me is God. Without God I wouldn’t have my life, family, my home, my children are a blessing.
Rory is such an inspiration. Their family and life is such a testimony of heartache ,happiness grief and forgiveness. Real life stories and how to react under most difficult times. How to stay standing in faith is so inspiring. FLOG...FEEKS LIFE OF GRATEFULLNESS. I follow these episodes with a passion.

Missy, its not so much the familys generational "curse" as the basic generational violence imprinted in varing degrees in all of us. When we heal ourselves, we liberate the ancestors. Thats our true work in a sense, healing our lineage. We are all in this together, with different stories and characters. Seeing this helps make the journey a little lighter💗God heals
Children keep you young, whether they are your own, or someone else's. Ultimately all of this comes down to love, faith, hope and love and the greatest is love. Without love nothing is truly sustained.
It's important to me to try to be a person who treats others well with respect, honesty, and decency, I still ask myself every day if I've done that after almost 70 years of living on this planet.
Faith Hope and Love. The greatest of these is LOVE

What a powerful flog!!! Straight to my heart. What a beautiful testimony that you shared! I purpose to call on the Lord to guide my path. My faith has grow stronger as I've grown ( a year older than you Rory). Calling on the Lord requires me to stop and listen a bit more. It's in the listening stillness, we get our answers.
I am grateful you allow us to join you to watch beautiful Indy grow and thrive. She is so happy, strong and content....I'm proud of her. You, I now have hope to know that yes, there exists folks with good values, firm conviction, strength, wisdom, the biggest heart, a willingness to be part of something greater. I've read your books and have watched the shows. You, Rory, have grown so much. It's wonderful to see from afar. Rory, my upbringing was so similar to yours, although we did have a stable home to live in. My family was fractured also, and I had and do still have a somewhat self absorbed mother. I am the youngest, and I raised myself, because my Mom was working and into her own happiness, not caring too much about me and my teenage years. My Dad, who was an alcoholic, and Mom divorced when I was 13, and my Dad died when I was 16. My story and the way that I was raised led my to want so much more for my 3 children. I have been married for 33 years, and I stayed in my marriage during some tough times. Family is important to me, so I have stuck with my husband and not given up. I am happy to say that we still love each other, and our marriage is the best it has ever been. I love your videos, and the life that you have built is honorable and beautiful.

My dog and my loved ones are most important to me. I very often find myself taking care of others before myself. I need to remind myself that I'm important too: that I also need time to reflect, pray, relax....care for myself. I'm used to making sure everyone else is taken care of and happy, that I get lost in the mix. My dog is the very most important though. She's a huge part of my every day. I love every single moment with her.

This flog? Jerked me back around, I have been actually thinking WHAT AM I DOING. I do know what's important to me, but reaching it seems difficult and slippery at times. At least I remain grounded in God. The most important to me.
Things seem differant now, harder to achieve. I press on and will meditate, pray and seek...pressing on in Christ

And I was just in the love of my life's study . saying God forgive me for my lack of faith I talk the talk but do I walk it. I feel weak at times. Candice, I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my sweet husband in January, and I struggle to answer the question every day. I lost what was most important to me, and now I don't know how to feel. All I know is that we need to lean on our precious Lord, and have faith that He will take care of us, and walk that walk with us as we get used to this new life. We can't talk religious and not walk it.. Faith without works is dead. Psalms 56:3 what time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. I held on to this verse while I was at the university of Birmingham. He went misdiagnosed by our ENT Dr. For over 9 weeks. He was my world and he was diagnosed with wegners autoimmune. After 28 days God called him home..may God bless you. And God is our strength but its hard to find s new normal we are forever changed. Until we are with them again.. Prayers ❣❣❣❣🙏🙏🙏the love of my life was only 53

I’ve been leaning on God and his word as well. He is the only thing that has brought me through this. I am keeping you in my prayers! 🙏❤️

I have followed you for about a year now! I can't begin to tell you how many times I have been blown away by your story. Here again....I'm in awe!! I'm not going to answer your question right away because I believe it requires much prayer and thought. The one thing I can put on my list right now is the salvation of my three adult sons, daughter-in-law, and my two grandchildren!! I pray every night for them. The other things after hearing your message is that I'm being convicted and I need to pray through my list! God bless you and your family Rory!! Everyday, I am reminded of what's truly important to me. I also see how much I've grown because of that and how I am with the people in my life and people who I happen to have contact with only briefly.
In all honesty, Joey helped me see a great deal. Rory, you still help me with that through your beautifully told stories through the chapters of the life you live....
I have never forgotten what’s important to me. I am an open heart surgery survivor, who had a heart operation at 5 years old. God, is very important to me, without Him, I won’t be alive. God bless.🙏🏻

This flog was reposted on a page announcing the reopening of a church in Indiana and I happened upon it. It was exactly what I needed to hear when I needed it. Doesn't God work in mysterious ways! I think the thoughts written in flog 24 are pretty profound. They're very relevant to life these days. It sometimes leaves us (me) feeling confused and in disbelief, seeing all the unexpected changes happening in the world and in relationships. I needed to remember how important it is, to get back to what makes me feel grounded. That's Faith, Love, Charity and living The Golden Rule to the best of my ability. Anything else is less than satisfying. Thank you for the reminder! I can see God is working through you. Blessings! ❤🙏

I raised my daughter under the same circumstances that your Mom and my Mom raised us. God's grace led me to a career, and kept us in the same home up until the time she married and moved away. Most important to me? God's mercy, His grace and His forgiveness...my daughter and grandson...my friends....my health and ability to care for myself... and having a place to rest my head until I'm called to my forever home....( I didnt make it back to the country, but thats ok, there was a reason, I'm sure. TY for another flog and your words of wisdom... I know you told us to show you instead of just saying it, but I felt convicted🙁. See ya tomorrow.

I worked hard all my life. That was my important. I married and Widowed that was my important. Now I have time to see the flowers blooming and the rain fall , the snow flakes pile up . The sweat smell of the air now that's my important. 😘

I can answer that question, what’s the most important to me? The most important thing to me is that all of my children all of my grandchildren and grandchildren to come except Jesus Christ as their Savior. That is the only thing that is important to me🙏🙏🙏
