- A week or two back, my wife's best friend Julie, who runs our Facebook page... gathered a bunch of questions from folks who sent them in, and called me with the top 12 for me to answer. Here's what we covered today...

Since my birthday, 4/25/20... I’m doing a daily FLOG (farm + vlog) here on RUclips. I’m doing my best to make something and share it… EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. ...at least for a while.

Just my opinion but I believe beautiful Joey is simply irreplaceable. I can't even imagine you with someone else. So sorry to hear about the loss of Ranger. He's in Heaven with your beautiful bride. Jenna Nicole but he’s not alone spiritually Jenna. You can tell it’s way too early yet for him to ever consider.having another relationship because the type of bond that he and Joey had simply doesn’t exists much anymore and it’s sad. I have a similar bond with my wife and we will be married 26 years in June and if anything happened to her then I don’t think I could have another relationship with anyone else. He has probly the best support system in place that I’ve ever seen with all his family there now, his two older girls and their spouse and partner, plenty of friends, a community that loves him dearly, and he has all of us all over this world. You can tell by listening to him that he’s just not ready yet but if the lord sends the right woman to cross paths with Rory and gives him pretty clear instructions then I have no doubt we may see him date again but I also believe that if that day or that person don’t come along then I truly feel that Rory will be fine. He has Indiana that will need him for a considerable amount of time yet and while that’s a different love than the love between two partners it is still fulfilling but time will tell and I will support his decision no matter what. Love is a funny thing and we all just have to trust in God’s plan for it all right now

Greg Simmons I agree, Joey is irreplaceable. I could not imagine him with anyone else either, but then again, life is awfully lonely without someone to share it with. So I wouldn’t be disappointed if he found someone special, as long as she held those same values that Joey did. But, for now, he has a little lady keeping his life together, Indiana.☺️☺️

I am so sad that Ranger passed. 😭🙏🏽 I remember when Joey got Ranger. I miss Joey so much. To me she was the epitome of the perfect woman. I know no one is perfect, but Joey Feek was as close as possible. I still tear up thinking about her. Love you guys so much. God bless you and your girls endlessly.

Edit: I looked at Heidi’s Instagram and I didn’t realize that it was posted a month ago. He was a GOOD boy, as the rule goes all dogs go to heaven and I know Joey is there with her buddy ❤️
Ranger had the kind of life I myself would love! He was done right by y’all and he seemed to be the BEST boy in return.
Keep your heart open because a dog may wander into your life and just remember, dogs don’t feel betrayal, Ranger would want you to love up another dog so keep that in mind! They are simply unconditional and without pretense ❤️
I’ve always had a few dogs at a time so I wouldn’t find myself dogless, and then it happened! How the heck was I supposed to just REPLACE my constant companion?!? I had to convince myself that my dogs wouldn’t want me moving around without a canine pal and that there are so many great dogs that deserve great homes.
I’m shocked you didn’t totally say no to dating...I’ve got ZERO opinion beyond find joy, find peace. I loved Joey, just from my soul to hers...I don’t know how you can find anyone like her (and that’s not the idea, you don’t replace people) but maybe you can find a similarly beautiful spirit who loves black eyed Susans, someone who will sew up the prettiest pink dresses for Indy and keep that garden growing, blooming flourishing! Maybe she’ll be a uniform gal herself and love the fact that the suspenders are a radical shift from overalls even though a lot of people see it as a lateral move 🙏🏻
Be well Rory, I’m just a hospice nurse from Ohio, farm girl from my childhood years, I’m a whole lot of underwhelming but I do keep you and Indy in my prayers. I stumbled upon Joey through the song that I can’t think of without breaking into a million little pieces. Never been a big fan of contemporary country but I was taken by the storytelling and wholesome earnestness that you two had...and your love story, man, it’s the stuff of legend. I followed every scrap I could find from your lives, there are so many parallels and I don’t think I’m special in that, I believe the appeal was and IS how relatable you all are, I’m grateful to see a kindred spirit in Joey, grateful you’ve shared so much of your beloved with us, and excited to see little Indy and you evolve in front of us if you continue to so generously keep up the personal blogs, vlogs, flogs and music 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Oh my goodness! What happened to Sweet Ranger? So sad to hear this. And Rory hunny I mean this in the nicest possible way but u might as well give up the dating thing. No woman could ever hold a candle to beautiful Joey. But I also understand that everyone needs that special someone to share their life with. As you said it's all in the hands of God. Love u Rory. Hope to see ur beautiful farm one day if this virus ever goes away.

What a beautiful tribute to your Uncle. I love that you accept him as he was. That's so very important in this life. He WAS quite a character! I'm sure you'll always have those fond memories to comfort you. I also loved that you pointed out that people do the best they can do with what they're given. That is so true. And, by Grace we get through the things that happen in life, that ARE hard, or difficult, or even heartwrenching.
I hear you so clearly on so many issues. Day by day, month by month, year by year, the Lord will lead us where He wants us to be, if we only lean on Him, talk to Him, and don't falter, rather Stand on our Faith.

My husband died 2006. Pancreactic. We had no idea it would be so short. Diagnoses end of September, and the Lord invited him home the 1st week of December. We beautifully were blessed to have my Bear almost 6 weeks. Praise our Lord, I can see him playing his guitar, and singing his hymns he wrote, dancing with the Lord on top of Heavens mountains. Watching you Roey. and your journey gets me through the tough times. I love him

As for an online concert......that may be the only way that some of us will ever be able to see you perform live. keto lady My doctor lost his wife. I owned a florist in town and all these women were sending him stuff. It was really pretty sad...A Doctor with a broken heart, chased by golddiggers. Well he married one of those golddiggers, and he is miserable.
If it is in God's will, Rory will be at the right place in God's time, and he will meet a woman who will complete God's will in his life and his family. Let the man heal. He should be respected for his choice to be "married" in his heart to Joey. I think God's ways are so far above our own, that He would make it unmistakable should that woman come into his life and his children's lives that would be a compliment to his gifts and a strength in his weaknesses. Just simmer down ladies! 😄
You know I believe that's one of the first question people ask after you lose your spouse. They mean well, they truly do......but you are still grieving that half of you that us gone. Your trying to figure where you fit in as it seems God is changing you out of your comfort zone. The comfort zone that you just fit in with one another. You were always laughing with that special person.. Oh the arms that would say im strong and ill be strong for you at a time when you need some extra strength.God gives you that one special person. I know i just cant imagine even holding hands with another man let alone have his arms wrapped around me.I know everyone says don't close your heart God may have someone for you. I don't doubt God could but I believe HE would only do that at a time when your strong and your mind is strong. You dont want YOU to be miserable. Like that one girl said in the comments. You have To know that your hearing God and as I said it would be very hard after being with someoned for me 23 years. MY husband,. Like Joey, was taken with cancer to be healed in heaven. So.........when I get to heaven first I want to see Jesu s and look into those compassionate eyes, then I want to see Don and then my other family members. And I can't wait to hear all those gone before singing Joey, Danny Gaither, Keith Green, Vesel . Oh and that piano player that played for the Gaither gathering My Son asked me why God did this to me after all ive done so much for Him.i said God didn't do this to me,, HE allowed it and I didn't know the reason then. But I now realize the strength that i now have going through this and i was the first widow in my church and right after there were lots widows and I was able to be the shoulders and ears they needed. So what the devil meant for evil God turned it for good. Since that song already taken why don't you write two songs. One getting through and ending onb the mountain top and one about how strong America is and how we are going to stand strong. Hey good title stand strong. Keep the flogs coming and you remind of those cowboy story teller only i think your a wee bit better even. Don't want your head getting too big. You wouldn't be able to carry Indy thtrough the doors. Hahahssh.
