"Some of our astute followers have noticed me slurring my words. I am not drunk but working with Brad it would be justifiable. I had 6 infected cysts removed from my mouth (noncancerous) and I have residual scar tissue and numbness. I will try to do better. Thanks Bob."
Hahaha. The cysts part not funny. Sorry to hear it Bob. But the drinking part... 😆 Viewer from Minneapolis suburbs. Thanks for the video. Going through the medial issues right now EXACTLY on the X. Gonna go at it with my spiky massage ball and theragun. Maybe even the bullet attachment. I need a good cry.
Thank you. This is something I needed to know. My mother and I both have pains with shin splints. I’m definitely going to try these techniques. I wasn’t bored. 😂 You two can get silly. I enjoy your videos.
I tried to do a Couch to 5k program about 6 years ago. Shin splints caused me to quit. I was recommended to put my legs into ice water but I couldn't stand that either. Maybe I could try again now & try this if I have problems again.
They're expensive but they're worth it.. if you are making a serious effort in to getting in to shape. I started running a few months ago and am still getting to a point where my muscles can handle it. I bought a Theragun for $250.00, and I use it every day. It definitely contributed to me getting over IT band syndrome. And whenever I start having leg pains somewhere I use the gun to loosen the muscles up. So again. Totally worth it if you're gonna use it. They work. They're not a toy.. very powerful tool and will certainly expose muscle tightness you probably didn't even know you had.
I have pain around the sides as you have shown but I also have a specific area where it hurts a lot more directly on the front of the shin. It does get easier within 10 or so minutes of exercise though (although not gone completely). Unsure whether it is just muscle or bone fracture... I've started running a few times in the past and everytime I've given up because of this same pain. No other activity replicates it. 🤔
i have club foot and feet issues. will an ankle brance and orthodic insoles help prevent/ease shin splints. im having major issues and pain that has been keeping me from enjoying life. im new to skateboarding and 40 years old, and have only just developed some skill, but now the shins are preventing me going forward
hi, i know you might not answer it but anyway i ask it. my uncle injured from a spinal cord T8, and we use TENS for physiotherapy for his legs and i see a couple of your videos of using TENS in your channel but my question is that, what is the diffrence btw the cut of spinal cord and just a shock or injury in spinal cord? cuz he can feel his legs but cant move them. is there any hope that with physiotherapy he can move them again? thank you. you are amazing
Gentleman, Good video. Have a problem where I am currently doing rehab on both knees. One had a total knee replacement. The problem is now during knee replacement rehab. I totally lost strength in the right. I am 6'2 298 and using an exercise now where I lay flat and do 10 knee reps EVERY HOUR on each leg. Now doing this I have shin pain in the weak leg where I can walk but hardly and my toes are numb. The only relief I get is using a spray named "ActivICE" on the shin to stop the pain for about 3 to 4 hours. Walking thou is still a big problem! When I stand the shin pain immediately starts and of course, impairs my walking. The shin pain is right on top of the bone from knee to foot. This has been going on since May I thought maybe instead of every hour I try every 2 hours? Any ideas would be appreciated to try.
I’ve had lower posterior/medial shin splints for the past 4 years and no matter what I do I can’t get rid of them. I’ve even rested for a year and slowly tried to build back up but they come right back. Been x rayed too and seen numerous physiotherapists and no stress fracture. I don’t know what else to do.
There showing you Gimmicks. does not help if your injury is age related. You have to stop completely what ever caused the injury and hope it goes away.
Not true. Their advice absolutely works as long as you're consistent with the techniques. Sure this advice may not work for everyone. Its free to try their suggestions and if it doesn't work for you - go see a physical therapist.

What's the diffrence between MTSS & Posterior Tibial Tendonitis?
What about a band around the calf like treating tennis elbow? Give the tendons a little help and/or reduce the load they take?
Does anyone have any thoughts on massage guns…I am thinking of buying one.

Ab roller works great.
Will doing this reduce the risk of splints in the future or only helps once they happen?
I was thinking the same thing 🤔

Perfect timing.... My Friend has Shin splints
You're next 😂
I thought there is no treatment for shin splints, I developed them on both of my legs 10y ago and I haven't been able to "cure" them
🌈🌻ThankYou helpful!
You guys are funny, TY for keeping it clean! 😂☺️
Both front and back pain on both legs. Nagging problem.
What about on the inner mid shin bone ache? Not tender, but aches really bad during running. Not a stress fracture.
I used to love running but my shin splints got so bad I had to stop
