I replaced the compressor on the Tacoma, a bit easier then your job 😊. As a side note, I thought my oil pan was leaking. After further inspection, I noticed oil around the oil filter bracket that bolts to the block and is above the oil pan. I purchased new O rings from Toyota and replaced the old rings. They had hardened up like plastic. No more oil leak. A big relief because the oil pan gasket is a lot of work.
@@alltsab Yes, I agree. Mine has that silicon sealer (2007, 2.7ltr). That is why I kept looking. I thought it was the oil pressure sending unit but that was dry. But, the bracket was wet. I'm happy now.

Normally newer toyota oil pan or transmission pan doesn't leak. Toyota used silicone instead gasket that why toyota never leak. 😆 🤣 😂
