You opened the wrong screws of the tensioner. you only had to open the one 12mm screw at the end of the tensioner where the hydraulic spring is. But youve opened the two screws of the bottom casing that was holding the the tensioner. this made removing the tensioner out difficult. Once that one screw at the hydraulic spring was removed, the tensioner would have rotated around the water pump and come out, making your job much easier

@@jorgefajardo2213 might have a clogged heater core or clogged radiator. Is the car overheating?

@@mannysolutionThank you for answering my questions.
The heat message came on my cluster so I turned the heater on full blast and also shut the engine off a couple of times untill I drove it home but no more over heat light after that I hope no damage was done .
Tomorrow I'll change the pump and the radiator as the next two steps.

How many miles on the car? Was it overheating? Or just to change it ?

The car has 143k and it was overheating. But the reason for overheating was a head gasket failure , it was in an accident and the person drove the car with a cracked radiator warping the cylinder head.

@@mannysolution ok cuz I’m thinking of replacing my timing chain but they say it’s recommended to change the water pump too…

Yeah, you might as well replace it because in order to get to the timing chain you have to remove the water pump.

May I ask why would you change the timing chain? What mileage do you have?
      Thanks…
