My first rc was a traxxas and it just kept breaking and i couldnt even run on flat concretee because the axles would explode... got a kraton4s after and it did everything the rustler 4x4 couldnt do. Now i have 6s trucks and my 4s First arema was just sitting picking dusts. Not because it was a bad rc it was just the bigger one were more capable and more durable. Now im salvaging what is compatible with the v2 and sell everything else. Going to put the upgrades of my v1 on the v2. Nostalgia is why i didnt end up selling it
I’m literally the same way. My first RC was a Stampede 2wd, didn’t do anything too major though. Once I got a few Slashes and a Stampede 4x4, that’s when I started driving them a little harder, mainly for content but also I find it more enjoyable to drive. Then my buddy got a few Arrmas from the 3s line, and I was shocked with how durable they are. I drove them the same way I drive mine and I’ve never broken one of his, mine on the other hand break almost every run. That’s why I sold my TRX4 and Slash, and I wish I did sooner but I didn’t out of nostalgia. I was genuinely happy seeing them go because I knew that this RC is everything I want in an RC. I briefly mentioned how the bigger size is a huge benefit in the video. I completely agree with you on that. I have a feeling that I’m really not going to use my Stampede 4x4 anymore, which I guess I’m okay with, but I’m struggling to find a replacement. My buddy has the 3S Arrmas that I can use pretty often, so those might be out of the question. I don’t know what else would be good for content, and something that I actually like and would use.
That skate park is awsome, you just need to send it. And, I love that truck. I specifically bought it for skateparks, but I can see why your so impressed with this thing after owning a stampede
I completely I agree. My Stampede is just not all that anymore, and Traxxas isnt all that anymore to me after owning just Traxxas Bashers for the last 8 years I’ve been in the hobby. Next time I go to this park I’m going to try and clear the sidewalk.
100% the kraton is way better. Both cars r great and I love them both. If I was on a budget and I could only buy one it would have to be the Vorteks because it’s like a mini version of the kraton. If I had extra money and was going to buy one then it would be the Kraton because it is insane. It has more power, more upgradable parts, and can pretty much do anything
I have a built granite blx with a hobbywing max 10 esc and hobbywing 3670 2500 running on 4s and the thing is a beast. Only thing I ever had issues with was the driveshafts. The pins would come out. But I only has issues after a few years of beating it. Lol. So the granite is a beast. I really want the new kraton 4s or the kraton 6s exb roller.. so haven't decided what to do. They aren't cheap so its will see what I end up doing. If I go exb I will probably put the new hobbywing max 8 g2 combo
I'm very happy with my Kraton. Haven't had nay driveshaft issues yet. I have never even seen a Kraton 6S in person, but from what I hear, if you get the EXB version it's nearly perfect. I'd like to build a Kraton 6S 0one day, but it is just not in the budget for me. Also if you run your Granite on 4S, I'm willing to bet that the same batteries will work in the Kraton, so you wouldn't need more batteries for the 6S Kraton. Just my 2 cents :)
I see that you already saw that one video lol. Other than breaking it in half, I broke the chassis another time (just cracked, not in half). I’d say get the M2C chassis bash bar. Other than the chassis, that’s it!
@@traxrc i believe they are 5x16x5. I personally buy from acer racing oN ebay. They are ceramic hybrids with grey rubber seals. Previously the 3s and 4s motors used 5x13x4 but got updated to the bigger ones in the front.
I if was u then I would definitely buy the granite v3. It alot of fun and ive had mine for almost 2 months and the only thing that broke on me was the steering servo. It fast, lightweight, and durable and its the only rc that I have the puts a smile on my face everytime I let her go. But the decision is urs to make. Do u reache.
But I do have to say it’s very strong. After a year it never broke, then I landed on a fence and cracked the chassis in half. When I fixed it I found a slight bend in the motor plate too. Overall it does take a beating.

Thanks!

Did u have another channel called "Airborne rc"?? Bcuz u sound just like the kid.
No but we r both from the Midwest with rc channels based around arrma cars we also have similar editing styles.
Just bought my first new rc car, went with an outlast.
Nice video man keep it up.
Ayeee
That’s a great car!
I love it
Krayton+Outcast+Grante= Perfect Basher!
I could see it
Krayton vs Infraction race!!!
Gonna have too
You picked the right color by far
I agree 💯%. Honestly not a fan of the teal.
Subscribed. Enjoyed the vid, no loud music and very chill. Keep it up
Thank you! Means a lot 🤝
what runntime do you get out of your lipos ?
40ish minutes
You prefer the Kraton over the Vorteks?

Got mine today and holy shit 🤤🤤 But i cant geht into the wheely. I've got an 5400/50c lipo. Mby thats the reason?
That batt should be fine but sometimes if u buy a batt from a random cheap brand they lie about batt specs maybe that’s the problem 🤷♂️

Nice buddy frfr your doing great... I love that blue that's the 1 I got
Thank you!! The blue is the only way to go!! Looks too good!
I just bought this exact car yesterday, and can't wait to get it outside. have you had any issues with it?

Remplace the front motor bearing by a better one. They like to explode. The warranty covers if it happens but its better to prevent it
I’ve heard this everywhere. Where do I buy one? No one links a better bearing so I’m not sure where to look.

Make sure they are abec 5 or rated for high speed
@@traxrc RUclips doesnt allow links ussualy gets automatically deleted
Thanks. I’ll try looking for them!
One of clips still came off the rear drive shalfs. So I had put some o rings on the shalf to keep the pin in.
Interesting. I’ll have to see if mine last. If not I’ll add some o-ring on it.
I'm still trying to wear my Granite out after 3 years . Still want a Kraton.
Granite's are tougher than most people give them credit for. Love my Kraton too!

I wouldn’t buy one only bc my buddy has one that I can use pretty much whenever. I like it, but I feel like it isn’t as stable as my K4s
But I do have to say it’s very strong. After a year it never broke, then I landed on a fence and cracked the chassis in half. When I fixed it I found a slight bend in the motor plate too. Overall it does take a beating.
I wish they would make that body color in the 6s model.
Ya I love this blue. The red 6S model is pretty cool too.
Hey get the Kimbrough HD large servo saver for better steering
I’ll have to look into it!
With the Vorteks it came with extra leashes for the clips check if in the bag with the manual and multi tool.
It didn’t.
@@traxrc that sinks!
Great video man. Can’t wait to get one of these.
Thanks! It’s a lot of fun! Most fun of had with RC in a while.
I love your content. Great videos!!
Thank you!!!
Just bought one, looks fun 😆
It is!!
Love it.

Enjoyed the vid fella , no horrendous music , good clear quality , looking forward to getting one when they arrive in the uk . Keep it up 👍🏻
Thanks man!! Appreciate you like the music! I feel like that’s something that can make or break a video 😂
