My shoulder pain also comes from over 30 years of swimming! I won't give it up, but I have slowed down since I turned 60... I will follow your sleeping tip especially. Thanks!
Once again, you guys just gave me some quick tips to help me w simple suggestions I can implement at home to imroce daily functioning & quality of life. thanks so mcuh
For swimmers, try changing your hand entry. Instead of thumb entering first, turn your hand so that your ring finger enters first. It makes a big difference and is now the preferred hand entry. Watch Olympic swimmers. That is what they do.
Thank you so much for all the videos you put out. I avoided hand surgery, thanks to you guys! I got trigger thumb a few years ago, post-menopause and my doc said I'd have to have surgery. I started searching for alternatives and you guys came up! I'm so glad you're here and doing the great work that you do! Bless you both!!!
Hi Brad, you mentioned swimming, can you talk more about how to prep for and recover from swimming? Like you've done for running? I took up swimming because of my back, but after 3 days, my shoulder is SCREAMING. These have helped, thank you, but I'm just wondering about warm up and cool down that could specifically prevent swimmers shoulder? and how to train (keep swimming) while I rest my shoulder?
When I sleep on my back, I always keep my "hug" pillow on my chest to keep my elbows off the mattress. This position always keeps my arms from going numb.
how do we know if its working? is there supposed to be some sort of pain in the stretch? example, get into the position, do the stretch and feel the pain! stretch through that pain , hold that pain for a minute or as long as you can.. stop.. repeat, and after a few days the pain will reduce and eventually the pain will go away.. fight the pain with pain so to speak?
I have bilateral busted up rotators with torn labrums, happened 11 yrs ago. I do have intwmittent impingement issues, as well as reduced range of motion, intermittently. Like Brad I am a side sleeper, and I was curious if it is more detrimental for me, (my body has the default position of this), I place a hot watwr bottle underneath my lat, place my arm off of that edge, and have another pillow under my head, and neck. I find I lean/lie a bit forward, instead of back, as Brad showed in the video. I have no interest in surgery, ever, so, I'm interested in any ideas at all. I do most of these stretches, and find resistance training with any weights over 5# will still give me restrictions, after several days. I've tried just to go with my body flow, over the decade +. Age is playing in, of course, I'm now 53.5, and feel the muscle clock "ticking", and want to gain more strength
As long as it doesn't hurt! If it hurts, we do not suggest you continue. But the body does make crunching noises here and there and as long as they don't hurt, it's okay.
Thank you, guys. Is it okay if i had Reverse Total Shoulder Arthroscopic in both shoulders? Jan and Nov 2023. No rotator anymore. I've done wall slides. I guess i just need to continue stretching for life 😂
I'd like to be able to purchase the individual videos I need so I could basically put together my own personalized video therapy sessions I can't remember what to do on my own. Please consider thsnks
ME, TOO! Healed so many health issues!! But along with that I did some specific therapies from Bob and Brad that helped when I was told I needed a knee replacement and a shoulder replacement!! I have already had 5 spinal fusions and the back therapies helped that, too!! I love Bob and Brad, and Mike, and I love the carnivore way of eating!! Chronic pain from fibromyalgia is minimal now! No longer type 2 diabetic, anxiety and depression are gone, and I feel better than I have in over 25 years!! ❤❤
I have the issue where sleeping on my back pulls my shoulder forward and that hurts. If I sleep on my front and place a thin pillow under that shoulder I get immediate relief. What on earth is going on? Couches, car seats, office chairs etc all seem to push my shoulders forward. The pain is constant and has been getting worse for months.
Bob, please research eating a Carnivore diet to help with your condition. Watch videos with. Anthony Chaffee, Ken Berry. So many testimonials on improved conditions such as yous
Maybe you shouldn't say anything. Obviously they picked someone who could help out and help all of us at the same time. Stop looking a gift horse in the mouth.

How is it that every time something hurts on me, you release a video on how to treat it? I would say get out of my head, but these are amazing!
LOL, glad we could help!
I like Mike. I think he's doing a good job
It wa good to see Bob. Hope he is doing as well.

Hi Bob 😊
Hi!
The most recent research shows that surgery is less effective than physical rehab for shoulder pain due to soft tissue involvement.
I caught that good Dad joke Brad. Who wants a depressed scapula?
Can you discuss Tarsel Tunnel of the feet?
favourite pie? DEFINITELY APPLE!
I have to sleep on my side. My arms go numb if i try to sleep on my back.

@@SallyParkinson-qe9sc I'll have to try that. Thanks for the tip!
Im dealing with ankle impingement pain like I cant do explozive activities like full force jumps or 100% sprints what should I do

Do you guys happen to have a camera in my house all your episodes lately are dead on for all the problems I'm having😅
LOL, glad we could help!
It's the algorithm. It's spooky how accurate it is. Is this happening with other things besides Bob & Brad PT videos?
Is it safe to do these if you get crunching in the shoulder when you start moving it upward?

@@BobandBrad it does hurt when I move it upward!
I can't do any of those examples unfortunately.

As long as it doesn't cause new pain or more pain. Everyone eventually needs to stretch for life, so no worries there!!

Anything for bursitis?
I fixed my arthritis pain changing to a carnivore diet a little over a year ago, best thing I ever did!

My doctor said don't eat red meat. No HBP, no diabetes. When I do. I stay full. Carbs will blow my stomach up.
No sugar helps
A human diet .... yep.
Such goofs you are. 😢 I recommend you and your channel. 👏 are you OK Brad??😊
Thank you!! We appreciate all your support! He is ok :)

Sorry to hear that. It could be a pinched nerve, but we wouldn't be able to say for sure without a proper examination.
@@BobandBrad I was wondering about that. I think I should just get it seen to as it's not going away by itself.
I cant do what you show, it pains top much. I think i have impingment no cuff tear but i cant do what you show.
Hanging and stretching is not possible for my arm.

great tips but the chemistry is BAD lmao. i just hope yall actually like each other
