The movie also forgot three more things you can find in rural Australia: Kangaroos and insanely toxic snakes and spiders.
The Swayze Next of Kin is awesome. Liam Neeson, Bill Paxton, Ben Stiller, Adam Baldwin, Helen Hunt, Andreas Katsulas. The cast was amazing. Please do that one.

Next of Kin could've been an alternate version of Dr. Sleep where Danny migrated to work in Australia to work in a haunted nursing home.
I have actually watched movies just because Tangerine Dream did the soundtrack.
“She flicks her bean to dolly zooms” is going to be a great slam in a movie at some point, you can count on that!

I'm Australian, and I've never heard of this movie! It looks pretty damn good.
The whole thing seems like a fever dream, strange settings, happenings and characters. Seems worth a watch. Well done Brandon.
1982 was a very good year for Cinema in my opinion one of the best years.

I was not expecting to hear music from the SNES version of Shadowrun in a Brandon review.
The whole Dark-Light-Dark scene actually makes sense to me. Thanks to my Aussie dad, I've had the chance to stay in the outback, (and thanks to my Canadian mum also the outskirts of Canada,) and if you go from a well lit location to one not so lit, it may actually seem brighter because of the stars, and when you go back darker again.
“…there’s probably some in my audience who know…” and my hand shot up- Tangerine Dream! Yes!
Honestly a pretty solid film.
The cinematography in this movie looks great. I can see why QT likes it.
We all loved Aussie B movies in the 80's. That was sort of my first dose of Aussie culture aside from hearing AC/DC and Men At Work on the radio.
