That was a great breakdown of the poses and acting. I just wanted to point out a couple of framing choices from the point of view of cinematography. When we first see Alec we have moved back from the poster of Presto, and the camera rests at an angle where Presto in the poster is above and gazing down toward Alec in the cage. This is sets up the relationship between the two characters clearly. Presto's facial expression is fierce on that first poster, but in the poster at the end, he is smiling, and Alec is on an even level with him. Another framing choice I wanted to point out is when Presto puts Alec on the table and he tries to run across to the carrot, Presto is framed so that he stands between Alec and the carrot. This shot tells us clearly that Presto is the obstacle between Alec and his goal. These camera choices are also very important for story-telling; I realise you are focusing on the animation, but a lot of people watching this will likely also be their own Director of Photography, so I just wanted to point that out, as you did with the lighting. Another clever idea is the white bunny set against the dark backstage, because it makes him easy to see even when he's meant to be in a dimly lit area. He stands out against the background very clearly.
