I'm beginning to think there's nothing that this crew can't accomplish. There's no way I thought they could get a tractor setting for 20 years in a field started in an hour. Very impressive!

Ya know I'm a 56yr old grandmom and I've been watching y'all's stuff for a very long time. ALL of you never cease to AMAZE me!! Your team is so on point with any piece of machinery sat in front of them. It really blows me away. Everyone is saying that is passed away a few days ago -- according to an instagram post from Diesel Dave ? No idea if true I don't have instagram but if true that sure is sad .. If I had to guess maybe dog got him , he was sick to begin with (kinda looked lethargic and not well when they found him - generally like he was asking for help) , but since they get into everything it's pretty easy for them to find the wrong wire , wrong chemical , etc in a household ..
Hope it's O K , but incase it did pass -- Rest in Peace lil buddy .

I love how all this equipment that gets abandon you guys are able to get working in like 1 hour of work. Amazing what people will just leave if they dont know how to actually fix it. Love watching you guys do this stuff.

If the 5 gallon bucket doesn't have a vent turn it over so the pour spout is on top, it doesn't sit there and glug it's way down. It's harder to start but easier to control the flow.
I hope there is plenty of old equipment laying about waiting to be recovered,I love these video's

As a young man, I believed that all engines were mystic things that had to be perfectly maintained to operate. Through my own experiences, and watching vids like these I now know that most engines are animals that want to run no matter how badly they have been treated. They may only be able to limp along, but unless there is severe damage, every dragon wants to breath fire! Great fun guys, good series of vids, with some more dealing to come!😊

In my mind, the question wasn't if, but when, they got it started. These guys are amazing
The work is worth it, for such a friendly young racoon.
The trans works like this. The front levers are neutral, first and second gears for that side track. The lever closest to you is forward reverse. You can spin in place by putting one track in reverse and the other in forward. You can turn using the trans by putting one track in first and the other in second, still having power to both tracks.

My dad has a case 1155E track loader he bought when I was a kid still has it and still runs great to this day had to rebuild the engine once and repack a few cylinders and undercarriage years ago always been a good reliable machine and used it daily for many years

37 years as a Case heavy equipment mechanic. Great job getting the 1450 running. The 2 closest trans levers to the seat are forward reverse for each side. The front 2 are high low track speed for each side. the lever on the rh side of the control tower is high low range. The proper operation for turning is putting one track in high and the other in low to turn. you can also use the brake pedals to steer. It will disconnect power and apply the brake to the side you are pushing.

Racoons make great pets, have to get them as a baby or around the size he found, very loyal and very entertaining since they have 5 fingers and can pick things up, almost like have a little kid around.

"Roughing it in" until you can get it into the shop to do a real fix, I doubt anyone does it better. I am surprised you haven't built a Rigging, Motors/hydraulic, and other task specific trucks that can haul all those fifth wheels. Something with a partial flatbed like the Essential Craftsman Site's "Tool Tank". That is a wild team you got put together doing some awesome everything.

I owned 2 Case construction vehicles, a 580D extendahoe backhoe and a 450 Dozer. both had the 207 diesel engine. Bought in 1976 and sold in 2015. Extremely reliable and robust. I'd keep the Case 1150 tracked skip/jaw. That unite will pull stumps and clear an area so quickly. The fact you were able to start it up after 20 years of neglect says much. The injection pumps DO NOT like water. So, make sure you have a bunch of filters around. I'd love to drive that puppy around and work it....

That old track loader just needs some TLC and it will be ready to go to work again. I used to work in the HVAC field installing and tearing out all types of sheet metal, venting, equipment and ductwork. I was sent to a house one day where a mama raccoon had made her way into the ductwork and had her babies. Once I located the babies I cut a hole in the ductwork and pulled 3 or 4 tiny baby raccoons out and repaired the damage. I kept one of the babies and gave the rest to one of my coworkers. I managed to keep my baby raccoon alive and kept it for a long time. They make good pets but they will get into everything. I like the way they use their little hands.
