This series includes Glitchy and my genuine first reactions to entering the Ashlands without much knowledge at all! This is not part of any other playthrough and is a standalone on a new world I created to help us quickly get ready and play with some Ashlands stuff as soon as it was released, since we didn’t have a good playthrough ready to join up and adventure in together! This is a series that Glitchy and I both recorded and made separate videos for our respective channels. Watch one or both videos if you want to see Glitchy’s perspective.

More Todos:
1. Bloodstone shenanigans:
- Make Wound Ripper (Bloodstone on the Ripper crossbow)
- Fully upgrade it
- Lvl Crossbow Skill to 100
- Load with Charred Bolts
- Wear full Asksvin Armor Set for +10% Pierce dmg
- Be NOT rested, to avoid HP regen.
Then in quick succession:
- Sneak in to position, behind a strong mob.
- Eat Bukeberry or Rotten Meat
- Drink Tasty Mead, to prevent HP regen
- Eat the three best HP foods (makes you miss around 300 HP -> +60% dmg with Bloodstone weapons)
- Make sure you sneak.
- Immediately shoot something, from the back, and see how much dmg you do.
- If it survived and staggers, shoot again, to see even higher dmg numbers.
2. Ultimate Speed:
+Asksvin Cape, with the wind
+ Fenris Armor
+ Fader Power
3. Use the Valheim+ mod setting, that makes tames not die, but unconscious when they take otherwise fatal dmg.
... or alternatively the setting that makes them completely immortal.
4. Necromancy Art Deco:
- Put three wall item stands above each other, and attach the charred warrior, warlock and marksman trophies on them.
- Place a Yagluth trophy on an item stand, right above a Galdr Table, so that it sits right between the three spikes. I call it the Xendrasch Table.
- Place a Pile of Skulls on a Pile of Bones.
Gonna save this!! Some fantastically fun ideas here!
If you want to use the bleeding weapons I suggest using the staff of protection along with it so you can be low health and safe while dealing alot of damage.

Waffles, your ingame text and icons and such always look sharp and crisp, are you running a special setting or mod or something I don't know about? I run at everything essentially maxxed and it doesn't seem as sharp. Great series so far too!
Hey thanks! Are you trying to record and the quality isn't looking good? Or just the in game settings while you're trying to play?
@@WafflesGamesProbably Just in game! Your text and food icons look really sharp. Even compared to glitch it seems to look nicer, perhaps the removal of atmospheric effects helps that?
I have the graphics cranked to max. But I also record at a very high bitrate so that's helpful for recording. But as far as gameplay goes just ensure your game's resolution matches the resolution of your monitor and up the graphics settings if your system can handle it. That's the best I can do from afar! But maybe I can help more on discord?
Does moder enchant work with askvin cape? Always tail wind?
