18:35 that’s a buffalo. Thanks for a good presentation.
I am at Bellefontaine so much to find clairity and peace. Absolutely love the amazingly wonderful staff and security. Your video was awesome.
Thank you so much!
I visited that cemetery and Cavalry over Memorial Day, both are utterly breathtaking and I so want to go back. I still cant get over the grandeur and the scale of the monuments.
Oh yes there's so much to see in them that it would take days to look at all of the monuments and such
I also have a Part 2 video if interested
@@HistoricallyMarked I am :)
This cemetery along with Calvary next door are super haunted as well along with Calvary Road that runs between both cemeterys
Rush was laid to rest here.
That's right. I'm still shocked and surprised he'll be buried here, since he didn't live in St. Louis nor did he have family here (that I know of...). Whether people liked him or not, or agreed with him on things - it'll sure be a very interesting addition to the cemetery
That I know of?
I love walking cemeteries. Always have since I was a small girl...6/7 years old. I really love the old graves. This looks like a good one. Do you try and read the stones? That's what l look for on cemetery sites.😊
Glad you enjoyed. Sometimes I do try to read the stones
My beautiful mother Alice Marie Parris is buried here!
It was a Buffalo..on Clark's grave...very nicely done.
I was out there yesterday 8/8/21, and was amazed. I wish I had watched this first.
So cool! I love it!
So cool! I love it
This is my first video.
I live in clarkston Washington
You just kinda blew past Henry T. Blow without mentioning he helped finance Dredd Scott's legal battles.
Is the Cemetary by the recreational center aka as the police station? I live near by if that is.
I have no idea
6th district police station is across west Florissant used to be next store to the fire station. Haven't been there in years. Don't know what they are now.
It’s pronounced bell-fountain like soda fountain
The Luyties angel isn’t really an angel but was made to look like an Italian actress Herman proposed to that turned him down. He commissioned the statue which he kept in his mansion for years and requested be moved to his grave. I just learned this today
Very interesting stuff! By the way, I apologize to everyone for mispronouncing his name (it is actually pronounced LOO-tees not LY-tees). Thanks for the information!
