You read 904L steel in the instruction book but the bracelet is white gold? Rinsing after salt water exposure? What is the difference in care between 904L steel and white gold?
I think both metals are very resilient against corrosion. 904L should not require to get it washed off after in contact with sea or chlorid water but most people I suppose do it anyways. Rolesor White as far as I have heard includes not only 75% gold but also small amounts of Platinum and Palladium which helps to maintain the colour. Similar on what they use on the rosegold pieces called Everose. That’s why these pieces are slightly more expensive than the yellow gold version. The white gold ones do have the highest content of platinum and palladium of all 3 what I have heard. Anyways back to your question I don’t think you have to care about anything if except mechanical abrasion if we talk about Rolex Full Gold Pieces.

Beautiful iconic piece. Many people want under the radar Rolexes so they don’t get mugged in NY or LA. I bought a Smurf in 2018 from an AD for 32k. Can be sold today for 40k. Smurf discontinued in 2020.
Hi Tim, I thought Certified Dive Watches had to have a lume plot every 5 minutes at the 12,3,6 and 9 positions which is why Seiko added an additional lume plot at 3 with the later SPB143 ? Maybe that ISO Certification came in post 2020 ?Cheers, Lance.

The Rolex box is a bit crappy , then again you are mostly paying for the watch , just to contradict my last statement some companies go well overboard with presentation boxes and are far fancier than superior time pieces from the likes of Patek, Lange & Sohne , VC and AP.
I was wearing my Tudor Blackbay 41 with blue bezel while watching this video and realized my watch does resemble this Rolex watch and I bought my watch at 1/10 of the price.
I love everything about the Submariner except it’s size. I wish they would of scaled the watch down to make the case lugs more proportional to the 20mm bracelet instead of making everything slightly larger. #IBWC

Great video because it let me know the following: Rolex is still shilling out that cheap ugly green box in 2023? Cheap plastic chronometer tag? No Submariner anchor that it used to include in the box? The crown, when screwed in does not line up with the case correctly? The Rolex logo above the word 'Rolex' on the dial is cheaply stamped and instead should be in white gold. The dial has too much text at 6 o'clock. Ugly cheap plastic wallet. I'm not impressed Rolex. You can and should do better.

It's easy to pick one: The cyclop ruins them all. So the only good Sub left to pick is the black no date 🙂

That's the ISO certification. Rolex are not certified. Seiko are arguably better dive watches.
