I tried on a Cookie Monster recently at my AD - gorgeous watch and you feel the gold on your wrist. Love Emily's onyx dial Day Date! I am wearing my pristine 18238 champagne dial Day Date today, it just came back from a full Rolex service and it looks brand new - living the dream :)
I just got my Cookie Monster a couple weeks ago. I absolutely love it, I love the weight too and the blue and black color contrast. I also have ref 16610 and it’s a huge difference. Love both though!

I'm still kicking myself for selling my Smurf 2 year ago. Bought it under retail back in 2015 when no one wants it. A colleague offered me a ridiculous amount of money for it and I regretfully sold it. Sourcing a Cookie Monster in retail is next to impossible at this point.
I love my SMURF which I am wearing. My only black faced Rolexes are the Yachtmaster 42 white gold and my Pepsi. Don’t like the blue/black combo on this or Batman.

I find the blue and blue on the Smurf a bit cartoonish because of the shade of blue of the Smurf. Also, I think the case of the 41mm is far superior. I hate the fat lugs of the old Sub. I think if someone has a large collection maybe the Smurf works better. For me, I wear my Cookie more than any other watch and I appreciate the versatility and under the radar nature of it. Well, let's be real it isn't under the radar as everyone who knows watches to some degree knows it's a sports Rolex model but unless they are a watch person they will assume it's stainless steel. I'm cool with people thinking I'm wearing a stainless steel Rolex but not so much everyone knowing I'm wearing a full gold Rolex.
