I am seeing more & more watch RUclipsrs like yourself experience the same. RUclips is owned by Google, which brags about how safe the platform is for personal data, and yet cannot prevent this type of cyber attack. But Google is excellent at removing political points of view that do not align with their leftist regressive agenda. Just my humble observation.
Talk to @HafizJMehmood. He has the same issue with his channel by the sounds of it.
Really enjoy your honest opinions on these watches. Many RUclips these days are too careful to not say negative about a watch they sell… the watches you like and dislike shows your personality and enjoyed watching this. And that’s the important thing, each of us with different personalities like different watches. Good job and keep it up!

Ah you're referring to the 'Tutti Frutti' Yacht-Master! I can confirm that timepiece was off catalogue - hard to say if still in production but ADs either way might have some in the safe to sell to special clients. Unbelievable watch with a really unique combination! 🙌💯

The Jubilee gives a more dress watch aesthetic, while the Oyster is more sporty. The Jubilee is more sought after in the secondary market and there is a slight uplift in RRP from Rolex, all resulting in a higher price on the grey market 🙌💯

@@cookingwithwatches respect your opinion, thank you - Pepsi is out of my wish list for 3 reasons: as I still cannot wrap my head around having 3 strong colours on 1 watch, feels I see it every day on someone (so it feels like entry level LVHM bag that everyone has) and with so many fake ones it does not feel that desirable … and I am sure I am wrong

The Sea Dweller Deep Sea needs more script - 9 lines just isn’t enough. How about add: *“Triplock Crown” “Saphire Crystal” “Oyster Bracelet” “Glidelock Clasp”* and ideally *“904L Steel”* Perfection!
I agree, I currently have a DD 36mm but I'm going to trade it in for a 42mm SkyDweller, once i get to purchase a 40MM DD in whitegold then I'll most likely get rid of my SD. Otherwise the DD is a real head turner.

I was offered a Daytona two-tone last weekend. Normally I just pop in to see if a BLRO came in but after wearing the Daytona for 15 minutes I am a fan. The black stainless one looks like special watch. One day when the price comes down to MSRP on that one I will step up and wear it. I almost forgot I was wearing it because of the weight and size.
The stainless steel black dial Daytona is a proper grail piece! Unbelievably stunning and arguably wear’s better than the more popular white dial ‘Panda’! 🙌🏻💯

My father has been after a Subby Date for a while now after his blue and gold one was stolen years ago, plus his collection isn’t complete without a Rolex. We’ve not experienced that over here in the UK. However, it is policy in Europe, so maybe it’s the same in Canada now too 🙌🏻

In my country, you could find the fresh dates sports rolex on the resellers..how did that happen, go figure.. legit customers find it difficult to purchase any model because of the long waiting time, resellers are the lucky ones.
When you actually hold the Blue Sunburst Dial Yacht-Master 40 in your hands it suddenly becomes clear that it is in no way less stunning than the Rhodium Dial Yacht-Master 💙

I purchased the no-Date Sub (114060) back in 2016. I've regretted it every day since. It looks great but it lacks the utility I need.

Thought i was the only one who preferred the black Daytona. I know the panda is the “hot” one, but not a huge fan of white dials and find it a bit stark.
Both are stunning and sought after in their own right! But the subtlety of the black arguably makes it more effective 🙌🏻
Like you, I love yellow gold watches but don’t think I could turn down a Daytona in full Everose gold bracelet with a sundust dial!

I couldn't never feel comfortable wearing a watch with diamonds. To me, as a man, it seems gauche. But I feel the same way about tattoos...so I'm clearly a curmudgeon.

I feel the more dislike for the 116900 the less in circulation the watch will be found on market - many years from today becoming a rare find for collectors
We often find that the less popular models later in life following a discontinuation become highly collectible for that exact reason! 🙌🏻
Appreciate the content, but we least forget, we buy watches cause we personally like them. As an example, I'm a fan of the everose gold Daytona oyster flex and not the yellow gold, I see the yellow gold is the one that is being worn in the video, so clearly a personal choice here, his preference. Buy what you like.

I'd pass not the Challenge and the new yellow Gold deep sea. it's only hyped because there are only a few on the market. Once they produce more, they will drop a lot.
Great video, Charlie. Taste is of course totally subjective, but pleased to say that my current Rolex references comprise one of your Collection and one of your Daily choices, Hulk and Pepsi. I’m on the list for the black Sub Date (THE iconic Rolex IMO) and the long list for the Ghost with my lovely AD. Would love the Picachu or Paul Newman on OF, if only they did the previous reference but with the Glidelock! Good luck with getting your vids back online.

Have tried the all gold deep sea and it’s MASSIVE and as much I love the blue/yellow I had to pass. And stick with the sub all gold /blue dial .

Good vid. I can confirm the TT Bluesy is 100% a Summer vibe watch. Bough mine in April and it hasn’t left my wrist. Queens Club & Wimbledon tennis I saw a few in the wild and got some nice compliments. The watch comes alive in the sunshine and always puts a smile on my face. I’ve been recently called over a Blue Face Yachtie and a Chocolate face TT Yachtie but these watches are not for me. Something about that name. Splits the crowd. Nice watches though. I’ve also got the mint dial DJ41 shown here and what a banger that watch is as a daily. I had the Wimbledon but that dial didn’t quite do it for me but I can see why some love it. Isn’t the saru meant to be the sapphire and ruby bezel hence the name ??
The SARU is the official reference for the Sapphire and Ruby correct, however, in the trade most gem set GMTs are referred to as a Saru 🙌🏻

Charlie i must point out geek style that gmt is not a saru, its a sanr or sn, which means sapphire noir. Saru is sapphire and rubies😅

The good thing about watches is that there’s something for everyone as we all have different tastes. For me that Saru is an aesthetic disaster. Blue bezel stones with green dial writing? That many white diamonds on a full yellow piece? Glad it’s a grail watch for you, but it’s a 1000% pass for me. I look at it and only see a mess - nothing about it brings the separate elements together in any way.
Bought an air king new model, decided to sell it after 18 months and can't move it on even at bargain pricing

Was the YM w sapphire dial an off catalog and has it been discontinued?
If you’re referring to the 16628 with the MOP Dial with sapphire markers it wasn’t off catalogue, however, it was an extremely difficult piece to purchase! It is also unfortunately now discontinued! Shame because it’s truly stunning 🙌🏻

New to the Rolex game here. I have a massive wrist and tried on the deep sea (blue and black face) and it fit perfectly. I want to understand the difficulties of wearing this for every occasion, since this will be my everyday watch. I do not mind the weight of it, however if you have another recommendation of a similar sized watch with some utility that would be amazing. Also, I plan on doing some scuba diving in the near future and do go on adventures often. Thank you!
As a daily I’d say the Deepsea you’ve described sounds perfect for you! The most popular and effective daily watch in the Rolex lineup is the Submariner! But that’s 41mm in size compared to the 44mm Deepsea! Both are very similar stainless steel submersible sports models, only key difference being the size 🙌🏻👌🏻

For me, Daytona is a pass. I'd rather have an Omega Speedmaster.... but I'd be all over the Explorer II for a daily.
You always seem to forget about the Explorer 1 in your videos 😋 id just have the 40mm version as a daily driver and one watch collection.
It does make an excellent daily and is great for all occasions 👌🏻

Admittedly, sometimes you like a watch that I dislike, personally. Then, I think back, after a while and think "you know, Charlie was right". And I'm, usually set in my opinion.
Clearly, although we have different opinions on everything, I attribute it to your experience with Rolex.
Examples...Sub no date. Didn't like it, now, I think that it's the best choice.
Explorer II, white dial. Who could dislike that?
Now, "I'll pass".
Moral the story?
Listen to others. The ones with experience just might have a point.
