I bought these based soley on their last video about these shoes. Overall I've been pretty impressed, especially at the price. The only thing for me is that i have very flat feet and any kind of contour to the outsole at the instep ( 4:08 ) causes some slight discomfort.
Thanks for this review! Just a couple of things: 1. Does it have a finished footbed, so there's no weirdness when using it without the insole? 2. What's the weight? I know it's easy to leave these sorts of things out of reviews, because there's so many little details to mention. If you have a master checklist you scan before recording every review, it'll ensure you catch all the details. Just a thought. Have an awesome weekend, guys!
@@meanderinoranges yes it has a finished footbed. I'm getting 9.4oz on my scale, men's size 9. We used to have a section of our videos where we went through all the specs, but that was always a spot where people dropped off and quit watching or skipped ahead so we've moved away from doing that, but, we'll definitely try and do better at integrating them all in
@@sonsofsever as an engineer, the low viewership of those sections hurts my soul. But I can understand that not everyone is interested in the specs. That said, I'm amazed these are over 9 oz. That seems a tad portley considering how minimal they appear. Thanks!
We've reached out a couple times but have never heard back from them, fingers crossed for something in the future. They look extremely minimal, would definitely be fun to try out
I've looked into this and spoken to manufacturers on Alibaba. All these companies (whitin, hobibear, etc) use the same outsole factory and seemingly share upper patterns.
@@TalAzulay add Airhas to the list now. Origo is made entirely in Mexico. Honestly refreshing to see and I want to support them. Just not enough volume (height) in the toe box for me.
Ooh, nice bang for the buck.
Definitely something for those looking to get started in their foot health journey.

Not a budget shoe but I have been checking out the wildling Amsel (Blackbird) Resouled. Have y’all seen theirs? I wonder how they stack up?

Looks the same as the Whitins casual model. There’s some white label company making these in China lol
@@ConciseCabbage would not be surprised 😂

@ConciseCabbage totally get you.
Great review as always. Chris, what shoes have you found are best to wear with toe separators?
@@gremlinking5640 BeLenkas, Jenon Leathers, Lems, Freet, and Splays. Also Groundz which I’m about to review is good to go there as well
