I fifth your motion. I have the first insanity, and insanity max30. I have completed not a single one. I did maybe 3 dvds out of 15 per set, and never continue in them (i've had them for about 10 years). Her workouts are the first workout videos I have done and am doing continually, and I see changes and muscles. Also, I feel stronger. (All mixed with healthy eating habits, of course)
Can I just say, I love that you don't look airbrushed 24/7 whilst working out. It's so demoralizing to see fitness/ workout instructors doing a 30-40 min workout with absolutely no sweat or shine or even out of breath. It's super refreshing to see someone normal. Thanks Jo!

@@jananee9311 could be due to age weight height! Watches arent 100% accurate and will always be different. Also could be your heart rate wasnt getting high enough to count as exercise.

I started your workouts last year in hotel quarantine (Australia's strict lockdown rules) and after losing my Mum it's one of the only things getting me through the day/week/tough times. Was in an 8 year relationship that turned me into a lazy house cat, fell deep into a depression pit and let all my true loves go. I gave up hiking, walking, and dancing for him because he'd rather play video games. I finally opened my eyes and did a quick search thank you for being so easy to find and so motivational without any kind of negativity. When you say do it your way if it's easier its okay, I love that! I don't move as light as a dancer anymore 😂I felt my heart grow 3 sizes bigger and I was smiling too! Sorry this is long, but thank you thank you for the motivation.

Finally a workout had a 72-year-old woman can do. I may have had to make a few adjustments but I made it through it and totally enjoyed it. Thank you so much
So I recently started my fitness journey at the gym 2 months ago, I’m trying to go down from 80kg to 70kg but it’s been a bit tough achieving this as I’m dealing with PCOS as well. Recently I’ve been going through some financial difficulties and I had to suspend my gym subscription as a result and I’ve been feeling guilty for it , until I found your account on RUclips. I’m glad to say that today makes day 5 of my workout with Jo and I’m loving every step of it,i sweat lot after a 20/30 mins session and I feel a lot better about not going to the gym anymore, I hope I can be consistent with it and see some progress. @@txm_xnx_ well you need to be gentle with yourself and don't rush it. Workout 4-5x a week, walk a lot if you can, drink a lot of water (my tip is to get a cute water bottle to motivate you), and eat well, a lot of protein for breakfast! Food is not an enemy, eat whatever you want in moderation. Also if you stress a lot, try meditations, that is really important. Good luck!
I was feeling so horible, and literally typo "fun work out" and this was the first one. I cannot explain how awesome i feel now, not only i don't feel like a potato anymore, but also really had fun and sweat, and just celebrate that i can move my body. Thank you so much!

I fell off being consistent with only being 5 pounds away from reaching my 200 pound goal. I haven't gained any weight luckily with me being lazy this last month. Day 1: 2 mile arms and abs
Day 2: 3 mile cardio dance
Day 3: morning metabolism boost (only managed 20 minutes but 20 more than I would've done anyway)
Day 4: 35 min sweaty leg cardio (felt so energised with this one!)
Day 5 & 6: Uni exams 😢
Day 7: cardio for beginners. I couldn't just do that one. I've had 2 days without workouts so I've also done Day 1 full body cardio weights
Day 8: Day 2 leg day cardio weights and core. I really struggled today, a lot of negativity around me but I did it 🎉💪

I agree so much! Some of these other RUclips workouts are far too advanced for someone who is not a workout pro like myself. I need something that keeps me moving, but that doesn’t make me feel like I won’t be able to walk tomorrow. This is perfect!

I love everything about this: the music, her vibe, the workout is challenging enough to sweat, but low impact for my bad knees. Being able to freestyle is also so fun! 10/10.

Have loved this workout for almost 3 years! I’m 22 weeks pregnant and so SO grateful for these workouts. They helped me lose the weight after my last baby and have helped me stay MUCH healthier this time around.
The first time I did this I thought it was impossible and so hard and that I'd never do it again but your positive energy just dragged me back here day after day after day I've done this literally every single day for like three weeks. I physically can't stop doing this every day. Each time I finish it feels like im dying inside and i think i can never do it again, but the next day I just come back for more and the next and the next. tysm omg
I was pleasantly surprised. Tracked this workout under "Dance" using the apple watch. Burned 340 by the end of the video, and after cool-down/stretching burned a total of 369.

I'm almost 60 years old and so glad that I found you. Perfect amount of cardio and if my shoulder ( injured in my 30s) acts up I can modify. I avoid getting on the ground for exercises as this is perfect!
I didn't expect to like this, but I actually did. I even got out of breath doing this. Got over 3k steps, 40 zone minutes and burned 216 calories!

This is my fifth GrowwithJo workout and I am absolutely loving how fun they are. I’ve been on a fitness journey for about 5 months now trying to find something that brings me joy. I found that with Jo at a perfect time because I’m battling depression right now. I woke up down in the dumps and now I’m feeling ready for the day. I plan on doing workouts 4-6 times a week. I feel aaaMAAAAzing after doing Jos workouts. Im sweating like nuts, my face is all pink and glowy, im drinking water like ive never had water before. My face has slimed down, i love looking at my face in the mirror now! The rest of the body is doing okay hehe

It's Day 3 of me doing this workout and I am so proud of myself! I've split up this video into 3 parts so that I do 10 minutes three times a day. (That's the only way to make it doable for me. Soon I'll be able to do the whole 30 minutes start to finish).
My starting measurements are:

This is the first workout Ive done in years. At first I seen how long it was and had no motivation to do it. I started and took a break wondering if i should give up but i got back up and finished the workout. I was sweating the whole way through but after I felt amazing. Will keep doing this. This is my favorite of all her workouts! Why? because like it says on the cover page it's a total mood booster... I exercise for two reasons. 1. to maintain my sexiness(obviously) and 2. for my mental health. This workout always pulls me out of a bad mood and gets my day started right. I love how jo keeps it silly and smiles and laughs while she does the work outs. I feel like I know JO lol she's like my virtual work out buddy.

I have chronic Lyme disease so getting out of bed and functioning is really hard for me most days. But I have made a commitment to myself to get up and exercise every morning. Could you make a Netflix walking workout? Like the moves are there but there’s no music except for the sounds for when the next move comes so that we could workout-walk while watching a show!!

Turn the volume low enough but not too low so you can hear the timer I watch Netflix and workout all the time it works
I put it on mute on my tablet and then watch on a laptop so I got the two screens next to each other and I have an eye on her
i did this on a rough mental day. I put on my own music (which included a whole bunch of Lizzo), danced for 30 minutes straight and my whole day got so much better! so thank you lots

I was upset about something yesterday.. and decided to do a SECOND workout (it’s a different one of hers BUT..) I felt happier & was in a much better mood by the mid way point and so Inspired that I actually did feel better.. I sped up my pace until the very end!

I decided to do this 30 min workout because everything else I've been doing has gotten so easy that it feels like nothing. This was so fun! I got really into it and it actually made me sweat! It's not too intense but quite effective. I really loved it!
