The problem with working at call centers is the employees have no options for what to say. I used to work at one for Comcast, Frontier, and spectrum and each company gave their own script to follow. If you dont follow certain parts exactly you get disciplined. I used to adjust the script to make it more natural and seem like a legit conversation between two people. I'd always get pulled to the side and coached for call quality but customers rarely escalated my calls and I always had pleasant convos.
