If it's you're first bike, get the 600. If you have a little more experience, 750 I guess, depends on price. If you're riding on street primarily, tbh 600 is all you need, it's def not lacking lol.
@@joelvela4366 Yep. If this is your first bike purchase, I also went back and forth to all of the 600s, tbh they're all great choices. Check out these videos on some other 600s, too. Not sure if you've checked out other bikes yet, but they give you some solid info that can help you make a decision. IMO whatever the best price you can find on a used one in good/great condition with as low miles as possible, I'd just go for that, but make sure to give them all some thorough research and listen to what people have to say, especially if they have experience on other bikes and can tell you some pros/cons of 1 bike vs another one. Peep these: Honda CBR600RR ruclips.net/video/8IQefsTHtNo/видео.html ruclips.net/video/U2feTYtQJ00/видео.html ruclips.net/video/gq_QXmBLLaI/видео.html ruclips.net/video/9F7S8ujCEyM/видео.html Kawasaki ZX6R ruclips.net/video/5peLIZneHvo/видео.html ruclips.net/video/aMbRxMMvONs/видео.html ruclips.net/video/t09sOLsgJAA/видео.html ruclips.net/video/U2feTYtQJ00/видео.html ruclips.net/video/Vayl1eYgdH8/видео.html I'm assuming you've seen a lot of GSXR 600 videos as that's prolly you're #1 choice, but don't sleep on these. Honda has the smoothest power band, and probably the most reliable out of them all (they can easily hit 100K miles no problem as long as you take care of it/regular maintenance). The ZX6R is kind of underrated, really dope bike, for sure. They all are lol. I wouldn't consider the R6, it's not ideal for streets and the ZX6R is a faster bike and it's cheaper lol. R6 is basically strictly a track bike, uncomfortable af. That's why I didn't drop links for it lol. Anyway, good luck. Ride safe and make sure you understand the fundamentals before you start riding too fast and hop on public streets and especially the highway. These bikes are very fast and you gotta respect the power. Always remember that there are a lot of incompetent drivers, so when you're riding don't assume that they will drive flawlessly. It doesn't matter how skilled you are, it's all about other drivers being idiots that is the main concern. The 3rd video I linked in the Honda CBR600 section, the dude goes around a blind corner too fast and there was a car going like 1 mph lmao...and he almost hit it. He's a very experienced rider but that was some rookie shit. He was mad at the car but he knew he fuct up. That's the type of shit you have to account for when riding on public streets. I actually left a comment on that video. Read it. It's probably the most recent comment on that video. Ride smart, bro. Have fun when you know the roads and have clear line ahead of you to pull some speed, but don't start doing that shit until you have mastered the fundamentals.

I currently ride a GSX-S750. I been riding for 1 year and 1 month at the time of writing this comment. Took the MSF Course, etc. Would a GSX-R600 be a good switch from the GSX-S750 or should I go from the GSX-S750 to a GSX-R750. I don't want loose power because the GSX-S750 is a pretty powerful naked bike. I seen that the 2021-2022 GSXR HP is reported to be 126-128. Im not sure if that is accurate and I don't want to buy it only to find its underpowered. Whats stopping me from the GSX-R750 is Ive only been riding for 1 year and a month so Im not sure if its someone that is over powered considered my riding experience.
You wont loose anything but low end and mid range with the 600. But if you keep it rung out itll be faster than your gsxs... the gsxr600 is the faster bike but it takes more effort. Honestly i think youd be fine on the 750.
I think you need to get your mitts on a late 90s or early 00s carbureted full analog super sport. Possibly an 00-02 ZX6R/05-08 ZZR600 (same bike). Super comfortable, they don't feel lacking in power, and lack of tech gadgetry doesn't hamper them at all. Try to find someone to lend you one!

Will never happen. EU is chocking all the manufactures with regulations and they are forced out of profits. This is why you see watered down 600cc bikes like the Aprilia RS 660 come out and maybe soon an Yamaha R7 with an MT07 engine (BOOOORRINNNGGG)
Today I found out, if my info is correct, the zx6r, cbr600, gxr600 are not available in my country in 2021. The R6 however, you can still buy one in 2021. Grtz your 🇳🇱 fan
You're correct.. In EU, because of regulations, they are cancelled and soon in U.S. they will not be sold anymore either. As for the R6, they are selling the remaining stock and then that will be gone as well.
For the R6 dealers can sell old 2020 stock and you can ride that on the public roads. The 2021 R6 can also be bought but you won't be getting a license plate for it so it is track only. So yeah this is pretty much the end of an era.
I have always wanted to like these types of bikes but I cant get over the riding position. It hurts my back and neck after about 10 minutes. This is why I fall on the naked bikes. Mt09 etc.
GSXR 600 is great on the track trust me, but It´ll take a some time getting used to the GSXR, you need to rev it like you try to break it...running same times as my 2012 ZX6R (which is the most powerful 600 i´ve heard) Not really sure that no changes have been made...since the two 2018 I have feels alot more powerful than the 2013 model I used to have. Also I seen differences in the front suspension. would highly recommend putting lowest front sprocket you´ll find since they are really high in gearing from the factory.
A liter bike is just pointless to have for the streets imo. A 600 is perfect for the street imo. I think when it comes to Sport Bikes, I’m not getting anything bigger, if I would ever get an R1, ZX10r, Pinagale V4 etc… I think it will just be used on the track. Now hyper naked bikes I wouldn’t hesitate to get one of those for the streets.

What I love about motorcycle owners compared to car owners is that we take immaculate care of our motorcycles, it's like a baby. You can go out and buy a 2004 ZX-6R that's going to have 50k miles and still look cleaner as a 19 year old bike than a 19 year old car. Babied to all ends.
I'm sorry Sr. But ergonomics in r6 and this is totally different.
Trying to buy this same year/spec bike this week
i heard there is a difference not sure if it s true.I heard there is no abs on the 2011 it started later years
If you like the 600, then you will love the 750. I have a k5, and on a bad day...it always make me smile and laugh. K5 kick ass all day, any GSXR 750 kick ass all day!!
I’m trying to get a gsxr 750... started on an r3 and put abt 3500 miles on it. You think I will b okay or should I go w the 600?
@@ethanhudson5289
You will be fine...take a leap of faith, and respect her power. She will try to kill you...so take it easy on the throttle. May life treat you kind and ride safe.✌🏼
When people ask that question, they already know they are not ready.
@@fatsmile77 aye thanks man you too!
What you will suggest?? Im not new in motorcycle but i only ride underbone but i want to buy someday 600cc bike which bike is better?
I just bought a 2002... I love it 😅😅
“Just enough power for the streets”…bro it has MORE than enough for the street 😂
Is that what I said?
I am starting to like GSX-Rs because of their one headlight in the front.
What here the changes in 2019?
Hello. Is this bike good to buy now?
I can buy 600 2011 with 25000km ( around 15 500 miles)
If you would get extra ground clearance on just swich sides of the LH and RH side plates that is attaching the footpegs and in a stroke you have great rearsets and at zero cost. well you need to remove the useless ring in one of plates ...
I have the same bike with M4 full stainless racing exhaust system! It’s a rocket 🚀
This is exactly the color of my bike but I need the decals for my left side and I can't find it anywhere.
Do you know I could find it in stock?
The most aggressive riding position out of all the 600’s is the Daytona 675 no doubt
You haven’t ridden an R6 or Ducati 959 lol
@@PetroHead I have a Daytona 675r , my friend has a 2017 r6 and we switch pretty often . I can confidently say the Daytona is much more aggressive and uncomfortable lol. But I’m 6’0 so that might have something to do with it . Never ridden the Ducati but I was talking about the 600 class
@@henrylara2045 for me, it’s R6, Daytona, GSXR and lastly ZX6R.. in that order.
I’ve only ever ridden my R6 and I’ve sat on my cousins cbr1 and I instantly realized how uncomfortable my bike was.
@@PetroHead so a ZX6R is more comfortable than a gsxr?
I see a lot of those at the track. They are great for track bikes.
whoa, noticed you go passed torey pines! My favorite place
As a short rider the gsxr line of bikes is the saving grace of supersports for me. Fit a gsxr 750 soo much better than i do a zx6r. I know gsxrs got a reputation. But damn the 750 is nice.
What’s your height?
@PetroHead 5'3. Because I'm so short I think this would actually make a decent sport tourer with afew small mods.
Bruh...what year is a good year(s)on the gxsr -600.
I am new rider and doing research love the 600 and the 750. Don't need to speed ,just chilling riding.
Any recommendations on what year on the 600's with better technology and mechanicals that you would recommend would really appreciated.
I was looking at the Alstare Special Edition..the color combo is sick...then of course you could teek it to your liking.
Safe riding
Much blessings 🙌

🏍🏍🏍😎😎😎💪💪💪
My dude.. love your enthusiasm but two reasons not to buy a Gxxr as your first bike:
1. Automatic crash (most gxxr riders are typical reckless squids with no self control)
2. Even if in the slimmest margin, you aren’t what I said above.. you will STILL crash it.
You’re new.. buy something sensible. You will make all kinds of mistakes in the beginning. Ok.. now it’s waiting time for squids to come rushing with ‘don’t listen to him.. I started on a turbo BUSA’
Haha whatever.. no one listens.
@@PetroHeadbruh ty for responding and your honest opinion.
You started with a turbo Busa?? Uffff...
Am a grown man kind of my bucket list..lol.
I will continue to do research and have comparisons.

The fuel light was giving me anxiety 😨
Fuel light was flashing, no big deal, they start flashing early. When the light is constantly "on", that's when anxiety kicks in and time to fill er up.
Can't decide😕 if to get 600 or 750 gsxr.....
If it's you're first bike, get the 600. If you have a little more experience, 750 I guess, depends on price. If you're riding on street primarily, tbh 600 is all you need, it's def not lacking lol.
@@hodlwise2470 ture and I've heard that the 600 is lighter and handles better than the 750.

I'm assuming you've seen a lot of GSXR 600 videos as that's prolly you're #1 choice, but don't sleep on these.
@@hodlwise2470 ZX6R is more comfortable than a GSXR? I am between those two. People say gixxer costs are much less than the kawa. What are your thoughts? Thank you so much
currently have an m240i and when i turn 24 im selling that and buying one of these along side an economical car. first bike, i live in the uk so cant get a proper bike til im 24 currently 23
It has very similar forks to the Stiple so you should stiffen them of course for track, especially for the fast lap-times you do! 👍
Yea I think it’s meant more for street than for track. When I ride a sport bike that isn’t stiff, it’s weird cuz I’m so used to my R6 haha
Speaking of Striple.. I’m at ACS today.. check out IG.
My K5 GSXR I tell u is my all time favorite bike.
I'm picking up mine tomorrow 😊
So, did the dealership let you test ride it? I’ve often heard that is a no-go.
Wow did the you watch the video??
You still in San Diego? Was watching your video because I'm about to get a gixxer 600... lived in San Diego all my life and looking to connect with other riders
Yep still here.
@PetroHead anywhere you can suggest buying a used gixxer here. I looked up the shop on your video and it's closed permanently
Check out onyx. They sell used.
6:59 dawg LOL
I think you need to get your mitts on a late 90s or early 00s carbureted full analog super sport. Possibly an 00-02 ZX6R/05-08 ZZR600 (same bike). Super comfortable, they don't feel lacking in power, and lack of tech gadgetry doesn't hamper them at all. Try to find someone to lend you one!
Yes!!! 👌
Hey great vid! I just bought a 2020 Honda CBR 650R, how close is it to a 600 supersport?
95hp but weighs a lot @ over 450lbs wet... Prob not in same class.
not very close, they accelerate harder
Enjoyed the video. I have the same bike but year 2013 and love everything about it. I need to remove my cat converter, the two brothers exhaust was sounding better than my m4. Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it. More to come... be sure to sub 👍
My m4 SCREAMS!!!I can’t believe how affordable the m4 is!!
My bike is also a 2013 gixxer and I absolutely LOVEIT!!!
What is that yellow flashing light?

Sounds like the gearing has been changed 🤔 maybe down 1 on the front. Because standard running gear on those you could read a book in-between gear changes!!

We have two Gsxr 600, a 2011 and a 2013. These bike are Great and fun.
Honestly I don’t know if I should get a mt07 or gsxr600 for a first bike
Based on your pic and comment, I'd say start on a CBR125 and stick to it 'till you reach 18yo.

@@DumbThings135 Good move. Cause in your question you mentioned you'd be getting a 600 as a first bike. Gsxr 600 ❤️❤️.. Brother were is the location??
Torrey Pines San Diego
I’ve read that even tho the 750 is not significantly heavier, riders do feel the weight, saying the Gsxr600 is still more nimble?
I ride a 600rr now and want to get a gixxer but not sure which one. If the nimbleness is same between 600 vs 750, then if probably get the 750.
Need some advice from people that have experience with both. Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
I have a gsxr750 and it feels just as nimble at my old cbr600. Not the same exact comparison but I don't notice the extra weight. The extra power is awesome and it still revs to 15.5k
How would compare this with the Zx6r for everyday use?
ZX6R will be more comfortable.
@@PetroHead Thanks, the ZX6R is probably my fav 600cc class motorcycle rn and I’m glad it’s the most comfortable one

@@PetroHead haha yea ik, I’ve watched one before that’s why I asked which one u think is better btw the gsxr and zx6r. Figured since u rode both u would have a better opinion
wonderful handling until you really push it around corners, then it gets a little dicey.
Yes the Gsxr to me is flat in the turns I agree
@@903assengsxr7 In hindsight, it was probably do to my lack of experience and no bike should be pushed around corners on the street unless corner was physically inspected and driven multiple times first.
@@eaglescout5816 no it’s the bike frfr lol
Is the blinking the engine light?
petrol, first it blinks, you can still ride it a fair bit, but when it stops blinking and it just stays on, you got like 20kms of riding left before you're empty
Does 2011 gsxr 600 have abs??
no
Wait when did you actually film this vs posting?
No idea.. why?

Will never happen. EU is chocking all the manufactures with regulations and they are forced out of profits. This is why you see watered down 600cc bikes like the Aprilia RS 660 come out and maybe soon an Yamaha R7 with an MT07 engine (BOOOORRINNNGGG)
@@PetroHead Yes the situation is dire! But where there is life, there is hope...

@@RutgerMulder so it seems, after the 750, the 600 ends also.

I own a k8 GSXR 600 and I’m considering a 2017 R6. Looking forward to your comparison
No problem 😉
I have always wanted to like these types of bikes but I cant get over the riding position. It hurts my back and neck after about 10 minutes. This is why I fall on the naked bikes. Mt09 etc.
Weak sauce.. get in shape brah
Lol suzuki never updates stuff cuz they got it right back in the 00s
They left motogp.. that says a lot about their retail market.
cool bike
A liter bike is just pointless to have for the streets imo. A 600 is perfect for the street imo. I think when it comes to Sport Bikes, I’m not getting anything bigger, if I would ever get an R1, ZX10r, Pinagale V4 etc… I think it will just be used on the track. Now hyper naked bikes I wouldn’t hesitate to get one of those for the streets.
Sensible thinker.
