I watched many other videos that are all tutorials on how to go through the publishing process on KDP and this is by far the one that explains the most. It's very straight forward and your way of explaining this makes sense.
These have been the best 27 minutes of my entire life, thank you so much. Before watching, I couldn’t make heads or tails of self-publishing, but that all changed thanks to you, so thank you thank you thank soo much 😅
Absolutely top tutorial. Your generosity creates such good karma. My book is going up on KDP and Draft to Digital next week, so, for this author, this is a crackerjack tutorial and so timely. Much gratitude.
Wonderfully concise and helpful (rare in ta time of careless misinformation). Takes time to review production shots for value and you did it! Thank you!

Love the step-by-step walkthrough. Your videos have always been so incredibly helpful - honest, clear and detailed. I’ve been binge watching all of them since I’ve made the decision earlier this month to write more seriously and to plan a publishing timeline. Thank you so much for all your great advice, Bethany! This was excellent. I have previously published 5 ebooks but never a print copy. With the wonderful of your video I'm going to publish a print copy! Thank you so much!! 😊
What a great tutorial! You are clear, concise, and right off the top! Loved it. I've completed what I hope is a paperback from the title page through to and including a back cover. I now need a book cover, obtain an ISBN Number, determine a book price, obtain a Bar Code, submit to Amazon for KDP Direct Publishing. Everything you clearly described but I have writers fright and just can't move forward. I'll definitely be watching this video for a few more days! Maybe then ...
Very useful, but definitely a video to watch in stages unless you want to have your coffeemaker close to hand so you can continuously boost your caffeine with an intravenous drip attachment!. Lots of concentration is needed. There is so much info delivered quickly, sequentially andcoherently for you to absorb 'on the go' unless you have a brain and memory the size of a planet. This is a really helpful video. Well explained, clear and easy to follow. You've talked here about so many aspects that are not mentioned in other videos - truly grateful for that! Many thanks.
That was so awesome thank you! I’m literally getting ready to publish my book. I was so hesitant about some of these things and a few of your other videos been amazing help! Seriously thanks again!
Thanks for doing this video Bethany. Honestly, we know Amazon has a whole Help section but it can feel a little overwhelming sometimes to go through. It's nice to have a straightforward video just showing the things you need to focus on to upload your manuscript. Plain and simple, and like you said if we want to learn more about extra things we can browse their videos. Again thank you.
Some great info here, thanks! It doesn't say what the website is exactly so had to search for my first try. Also, where do I find the royalties calculator you were using in this video?
Nice tutorial. The interface has changed slightly since I published my first book last year. One thing did not realize was Amazon contacts KDP authors via the registered email. If KDP has any questions (which delay publication) it will be communicated via email.
Thanks! Amazing tutorial! I have watched and studied many publish-your-book videos and courses. You cover, in a pleasant conversational way, many of the very basic basics that other videos, and even expensive courses, forget.

Hi Bethany, thank you for the video, It's very helpful information. I am getting ready to publish my first book, I have question, if you don't mind. Did you upload your book content from ms formatting template by Derick Murphy or you convert into some other format first? Thanks.

Hey, how's it going? First off, your tutorial is awesome, it gets straight to the point without beating around the bush. Did you create a specific amazon account before starting your KDP and ACX account or are you using as a professional self publisher you personal amazon account. there aren't many resources online and setting up shop is one important step. Please let me know your thoughts. Thansk!
Very good explanation of this process! I'm preparing to upload my first book to KDP as well, but want to get my own publishing company set up first, if it makes sense. But, I don't *think* that I'll be selling outside of Amazon (yet). So, what are the pros and cons of having your own publishing company? Is that required only if one also wants to sell outside of Amazon? I also plan to narrate the Audible version of my book and (hopefully) use their Whispersync feature to sync that with the Kindle version. Do you have any experience with doing that? Thanks!
Very helpful video. I have a front cover already, which I used on my Kindle ebook. Can I use that and the cover create option to create a spine and back cover? Will Amazon create a spine and back cover for me?

Well KDP says it “can take up to 72 hours to be approved” and if there was any issue you’d have to resubmit as well, which happened to me once years ago.
