Not only is this the raunchiest groove, it's also funny as flip. The Stones always had the wickedest sense of humour and were not shy to self-deprecate, or self-lubricate for that matter. Miss you Charlie. A touch so subtle yet so refined. The best possible drummer The Stones could ever have had. A gentleman in every sense of the word. R.I.P.

At 61, my biggest surprise has been that my great-nephews want my old albums. The twins want my Doors, and their little brother wants my Rolling Stones. They got box sets for Christmas and loved it.
They aren't stupid. They're tuning out of the crap, turning it off, and turning on to great music.
Their parents aren't stupid either. I'm proud of them. We raised them right.

    LYRICS
I've been holdin' out so long
    I've been sleepin' all alone
    Lord, I miss you
I've been hanging on the phone
    I've been sleeping all alone
I want to kiss you sometime
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh
Well, I've been haunted in my sleep
You've been starrin' in my dreams
    Lord, I miss you, child
I've been waitin' in the hall
    Been waitin' on your call
    Your phone rings
It's just some friends of mine that say
    "Hey, what's the matter, man?
We're gonna come around at twelve
With some Puerto Rican girls that's just dyin' to meet you
We're gonna bring a case of wine
Hey, let's go mess and fool around
You know, like we used to"
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah
    Oh everybody waits so long
Oh baby, why you wait so long?
Won't you come on, come on
    I've been walking Central Park
    Singin' after dark
    People think I'm crazy
    Stumbling on my feet
    Shuffling through the street
Asking people, "What's the matter with you, boy?"
Sometimes I want to say to, to myself
    Sometimes I say
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
    I won't miss you, child
I guess I'm lying to myself
It's just you and no one else
Lord, I won't miss you, child
You've just been blottin' out my mind
    Foolin' on my time
No, I won't miss you, baby, yeah
    Lord, I miss you child
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah aah
    Aah aah aah aah
    Lord, I miss you, child

No reason, it just made us happy. It was such a great time and I miss him a lot. Our lives went different ways. There wasn't any conflict nor anything, just life, you know? Different paths. Except that's bollocks mate.
When I was a kid my mum and dad listened to a lot of stuff most people of their generation should have hated by your arse first logic.
I guess you must be a fan of that gibbering stab vest idiot. And before you say he's got loads of cash in the bank etc etc think on, he's got money because someone knew how the current market for music works if you want to make money but no decent music. You can't blame shitzy for grabbing the cash though, if more people didn't mind looking and sounding like mongs for the money they'd do it as well. Genuinely fair play to him for taking the money out of pockets of people like you.

Jagger did live vocals over the backing track! Perfect combination of rock, blues, and disco

Studio 54..snorting coke on the dance floor while this was BLASTING.. and seeing Mick Jagger sitting at a roped off table with David Bowie and at least a dozen beautiful chicks hanging all over them...I'll never forget that!

This is it. This block of videos...the best of 1978. My first year discovering the radio and popular music. I turned out a metal head, but I love...this...music! The Rock, the Pop, the Disco, the Soundtracks...I can feel the world I lived in at 8 years old and I LOVE ALL OF IT!!! TAKE ME BACK!!!

Such a groovy track. Van Halen’s song ‘Push comes to shove’ always reminded me of this song, especially that bass line.

Popular music is a wasteland strewn with festering cow pats as of 2021. Hoping music like this makes a full comeback.
