💕😘🙏
Oh, how young they look... back when they were only two decades into their careers (gulp).
♥️🇵🇸♥️🇵🇸♥️🇵🇸♥️❤️♥️🇵🇸
Impeccable version of Ordinary World. THIS is the ONLY way it has to be played. Perfect 💎💎💎
Es lo que espero ver, estoy comenzando recién a ver este recital.
I don´t think so. Andy plays that better then Wacco
That bass player is on FIRE!! Check out his sick fills on New Moon on Monday. He definitely did honor to John Taylor’s original part.
Wes Wehmiller, RIP
r.i.p. Wess
He was a sweetheart, RIP Wes!
I was 6 years old!!! This was my first concert ever. Like this specific concert.. I can't believe I actually found this. ❤😂😢😊.. I'm going go to see them September 6th.. my brain is on straight flash back
Actually this is far better than recent productions. At least this is my opinion. I loved Pop Trash. Here Simon’s voice is PERFECT💎
Very well played and exceptionally well sung by Simon, (Thank You for posting it), however, that was the lowest point of my beloved Duran Duran Live career... I saw them over 18 times from 1987 until now, twice during this Tour, in Vegas (Great Gig), and in West Hollywood...the latest was heartbreaking.
I never felt them so distant.
There was no chemistry in the band, PoP Trash material was meaningless compared to the Greatness of the earliest albums, Warren took over the lead and the result was sad to say the least... overall it felt like they were just a good band executing their daily homework with some really nice moments (Ordinary World in this video is AMAZING), but without putting their Hearts outhere!
Thankfully they changed direction, and we are still enjoying them live, Better than ever!
pop trash was a great tour
Really rough times for duran duran. Sounded good but had run out of steam until the reunion.
They were a dead band walking. I saw them at Bournemouth and Wembley in 2000 and they looked finished.
Never saw this concert before. Great Simon he is crazy and in Save a Prayer is special ...
I saw them at Bournemouth and Wembley on that tour and they looked finished. I really thought that might be the last time we would ever see them, but then the reunion happened. 🥰
Agreed. I saw them at the NEC Birmingham in 2000 and i thought it was the end. John Taylor leaving the band was just too much. Just seen them in Birmingham last month and they were fantastic.
And still I think Pop Trash is a great album
@@fmor4133It isn't even a DD album. It is a TV Mania album with SLB singing NR's lyrics and released under DD's name.
@@rde4017 I'm not sure what your point is. It"s still great music and I enjoy listen to it.
@@fmor4133 Good for you, but it wasn't a DD album.
As a longtime diehard Duran Duran fan, I drove down to Bethlehem from Syracuse, NY with a broken leg to attend this show. I admit these were not the best of times for the band, but the Pop Trash album did grow on me over the years and now I really appreciate Warren's contributions; and I am very happy to learn that he has also contributed some guitar work to their forthcoming Danse Macabre album. Can't wait to hear it. On a side note, I remember during this show there was a spattering of light rain and I had ask the staff for a garbage bag to cover my cast so it wouldn't get ruined, LOL
Adding to what others have said, i saw them at the NEC Birmingham in 2000 and i thought it was the end. I've seen them 9 times over the years and 2000 was the worst i've ever seen them. I vividly remember Nick with the sequencer on Planet Earth out of sync with the drums and waving to someone to slow it down. Whilst Andy and Roger had left the band (and were really missed), the band could still function as Simon, Nick and John - i saw them in 1987, 1989, 1993 (acoustic set) and 1994 and they were great - but once John Taylor left, the band reached a critical mass and the band members just didn't seem to gel. I'm probably being a bit unfair on Warren Cuccurullo (as Ordinary World is obviously a stunning song) but i just love the early stuff from 1981 and 1982 so favour the original lineup - i cherish the memories of seeing the original 5 in 1982, 1983 and 2004. Just seen them in Birmingham last month and they were fantastic.
Agreed.
I was at this show. In hindsight, I know what you're saying. While I was here, I truly didn't care. I was in the moment.
Their Reunion Tour and Astronaut tour were awesome! I'll never forget them.
Saw them last month in Tampa FL and they had their mojo back! Amazing considering it was 23 years after this.
Duran Duran é fantástico passaram por vários ciclos isso faz parte da vida.
Aqui no Brasil tem uma banda que se chama RPM e o tecladista usa varios teclados sintetizados inclusive Duran Duran era sua referência.
tbh I was delighted to see the back of WC. He all but killed the band in the end.
Best band ever,
Joe Travers is a beast on drums and the same goes for late Wes!!!
Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. But it is a good representation of their live energy. I saw them in Bethlehem multiple times. ❤
I was at this concert.
🎉❤❤ that's awesome 😎 his voice has so many octones

Bass, drums, guitar and synths excellent. Simon;s voice and look of I wish I wasn't here are very clear. On save a prayer, he definitely looked like he wanted saving!
Oooh! I was there! I'm even in a few crowd shots! Such great memories. :)
Love this!! I have this on DVD, but I could never do a good-quality DVD rip. Thanks for posting!
Es una pena que siempre respondo tus comentarios y no les das importancia. De todas formas. Mi único deseo es que Warren Vuelva.

Pop trash è stato l'album più sottovalutato della storia...in realtà è un grande disco...
Pop trash movie = Big bang generation
Sem John Taylor eu me recuso a assistir...
Thanks for sharing some AMAZING shows! Do you happen to have the Dierks Bentley/Miranda Lambert show from August 29, 2006?
No, sorry
Simon cantou muito nesse show. Sozinho, sem vocals de apoio. Show
1:21:12 Warren 😊
What happened to John Taylor ?
Duran Duran at their lowest !!
Too much roids for Warren. Great show though!
🎉❤❤SIMON I got my daddy's reincarnation biggest body trouble yappy.😊😊
By this stage of the Duran incarnation, they had completely lost all the soul that was once the essence of what made them great. Hate this concert!
Warren really drove the band into the ditch around this time - The material is stronger than some of their recent output but the "metal guitar" all over the set is awful. Truly a nadir for the band. Sub metal tones. I have to say this but every American guitarist ends up dragging this type of crass cheesy guitar tone into the frame if left to his own devices for too long. Simon and Nick created the vacuum and let Warren run riot. He shat all over the songs with this horrid metal guitar tone.
Agree 100%
That is 100% the decision and fault of the band's mixer who dialed him in too high. The band as a whole agreed on the sound (incl the choice of guitarist) though based on periodic sample recordings and made no adjustments. Also, I've noticed in my 64 years and 200+ concerts that there is almost always a period in popular band's progression where they get bored and feel the need to experiment with derivations of their songs.
and this is why I LOVE this 1997-2001 period, BECAUSE of what Warren does all over the live stuff..... it was NEXT LEVEL and I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pop Trash is better than Astronaut and Red Carpet. When Warren left the band turned into actual pop trash.
Their best music was nineties, especially near the end of them.
